Dear Neeraj, Namaskaar.

Allow me to share some of my understanding, though, you addressed this to Visti.

Here is a Shloka from Maharishi Jaimini’s Upadesa Sutras:

Chapter I Quarter IV

1.4.3

Natra Ravi Paapah

Translation: The Sun is not a malefic for matters concerning the Upa Pada

While Maharishi Jaimini was describing the 2nd from the UL in the stanza

previous to the above, having the Sun in the 12th from the UL could also simply

indicate that the spouse will move far away from the Father.

Had the Sun been in the 7th FROM the UL, then the Father-in-law for the native

would have opposed the institute of marriage.

Hope some of this helps.

Best wishes,

Nitin.

Respected Gurudeva,

Sun in 12th from UL shows differences with father in

law, or father in law cease to exist.

If an exalted sun is there in 12th from UL, do we need

to change the interpretation or the results will be

same.

Dear Nitin, Namaskar

That’s not the right logic –

then why should Sun in 7th from UL cause problems, if 12th

from UL cannot? Incase of Sun placed in or lording the 12th from UL,

the father inlaw will EITHER pass away at the time of marriage, or distance

himself due to being opposed the marriage.

Best wishes,
