Dear Visti-ji,

Thanks a lot. However, I request some clarifications.

(1) I am a bit led off by the term "siddhamsa". I thought it

means "siddha" meaning achievement or success in general. You are

saying that this is only for educational sphere? Kindly comment.

Also, I thought 6-th house is a house of obstacles. Is its

significance not the same in D-10? So work doesn't involve

overcoming a lot of resistance?

(2) My AK is in 3H (with Ke,Ve,A7,UL) in Aries lorded by Mars, owned

of 10-th House)

(3) My question about AK and DK was that from your charting

experiences, have you seen for a husband & wife charts, that DK

graha in husband's chart is same as AK graha in wife's chart? Is it

commonly like this? I know DK also means partners.

(4) New Question: What are the role of Upagrahas in D-n charts?

Thanks for your time,

- Sourav

#2: [Om Krishna Guru] To

Visti-ji: three questions

12.0pt">

font-family:"Courier New"">

Dear Visti-ji,

Thanks a lot. However, I request some

clarifications.

(1) I am a bit led off by the term

"siddhamsa". I thought it

means "siddha" meaning achievement or

success in general. You are

saying that this is only for educational sphere?

Kindly comment.

[Visti] When you

attain siddhi of something, you have attained full knowledge of that subject. Hence

siddhamsa will show all the siddhis you have in formal and informal spheres of

learning. The D-10 is the Karma-amsa.

font-family:"Courier New"">

Also, I thought 6-th house is a house of

obstacles. Is its

significance not the same in D-10? So work doesn't

involve

overcoming a lot of resistance?

[Visti] In the dasamsa

the 6th house is the house of work and service. This service is

necessary for one to later express ones qualifications indicated by the 10th

house, and finally retire with a big bundle of money indicated by the 2nd

house.

font-family:"Courier New"">

(2) My AK is in 3H (with Ke,Ve,A7,UL) in Aries

lorded by Mars, owned

of 10-th House)

[Visti] So?

font-family:"Courier New"">

(3) My question about AK and DK was that from your

charting

experiences, have you seen for a husband &

wife charts, that DK

graha in husband's chart is same as AK graha in

wife's chart? Is it

commonly like this? I know DK also means partners.

[Visti] No it is not

common in my experience.

font-family:"Courier New"">

(4) New Question: What are the role of Upagrahas

in D-n charts?

[Visti] First

understand their role in the d1 chart. What is the difference between a Graha and

an Upagraha?

A separate question; You

are not doing a Guru mantra are you?

font-family:"Courier New"">

Thanks for your time,

- Sourav

Dear Visti-ji,

Thanks for your input. Yes I am doing guru mantra. why you ask?

Significance of Upagraha in different houses is given in an article.

Like what does Gulika mean in 1H, 2H, etc. Upagraha is a satellite

a secondary or a tertiary significance. Upagraha signifies that.

That is my understanding. Kindly comment.

Dear Sourav, Namaskar

The word Graha comes from the word;

Grahana which means to eclipse or take hold of. So this means that the Grahas

can control our minds, our body and etc. An Upagraha can however not control

our mind, and instead can only control some body-parts or organs.

Best wishes,

Dear Visti-ji,

O.K. etimologically yes, I agree. But what is

significance in D-1 and D-n's?

Also, why did you ask about my guru mantra ? I am a bit taken aback.

Thanks,

Dear Sourav, Namaskar

The next division of the Upagrahas is in;

Aprakasha vs Upagraha.

Here; Dhuma, Indra Chaapa, Parivesha, Vyatipata

and Upaketu are Aprakasha Grahas, and can cause direct physical damage to the

body or other peoples bodies.

The other upagrahas can cause loss of

memory, or lack of knowledge, and in few cases avert evil, like Yamaghantaka.

In d9 they say that: Mandi placed in

trines to Navamsa lagna causes one to be without knowledge of ones birthtime.

The reason I asked about your Mantra is

because of the ammount of questions you posed – I use vedic-numerology to

see what influences the person is under from their style of writing or the

number of questions they ask.

Best wishes,
