Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha! Dear Visti, In the post below you mentioned " So when analyzing the upapada from moon (Chandra upapada) it means we are analyzing where the mind is giving to, i.e. where the mind puts all its attention! So the vital learning here is; where the mind puts all its attention is also where it goes after death!"" Of course at different points in life ones attention gets diverted accordingly. Isnt it more important to ascertain where a person mind is inclined at the point of death itself??... like something related to 3rd/8th from AL? Is this something you learned from Sanjay, or in some books? Where can i read more(still waiting ont eh edge of my seat for Robert Kochs book)about this type of thing? Does anybody figure the upapada for Sun etc as well?? and how do you tie this in with study of D-60? Also, what connection can we expect to see between MOons placement in D-60 and natal rasi chart? Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Lakshmi, Namaskar I learnt this from Sanjayji. I’m usually pretty good at saying whether its my own experience, or what I’ve learnt. The 3rd and 8th from arudha lagna can reveal the events at the time of death, you can go to the extent of predicting whether the person will have Bhagavan Darshan at death from the 3rd/8th from upapada, but there is a place where the mind spends most of its time, circulating about, thinking about, always pondering. Even when the intelligence (lagna) gets diverted, the mind (moon) goes back to that particular subject and again starts circumbating it. Sanjayji explained that the Upapada from Moon and Sun are both used, and then he gave an interesting explanation; for him all 3 upapadas fall in the 8th house, showing his massive interest in the occult and jyotish, on both body, mind and soul level. I do not know how to tie this in with D-60, but as this is more relevant for the afterlife, D-60 has little importance here. Obviously the upapada is much more than just marriage – that’s why jaimini and parasara can state thing like; if the 2nd lord from upapada is in the 2nd house, the native is a thief… Best wishes, font-weight:bold"> color:#99CC00;font-weight:bold">Visti Larsen Verdana;color:#99CC00"> color:#99CC00">http://srigaruda.com color:#99CC00">visti (AT) srigaruda (DOT) com font-family:Verdana;color:#4E81C4"> font-family:Tahoma;font-weight:bold">lakshmisyama [lakshmikary (AT) netzero (DOT) com] 10 December 2004 05:52 [Om Krishna Guru] Chandra, upapada of ?- to Visti Ji 12.0pt"> font-family:"Courier New""> Jaya Jagannatha!
