Guest guest
Dear Freedom, Allow me a comment here: My personal experience with a limited number of chart where Jupiter is with AL shows that Jupiter should NOT be retrograde (not sure about debl.) or aspected by Rahu as it will allow the person to get as far as to fame as the reason for fame will be 'reversed'. [it is also said that 10th lord in the 10th give rise for fame. In theory anyway and often not in reality (depending on many other factors).] I have both Moon and Mercury (debl.) in kendra to AL (and Jupiter in AL). I am NOT know for business and never go for 'big business', where social appeal have a character of a more changeable and periodical issue. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing your experience- you didn't mention what happens if Ju is not retro, and is strong, with AL /as is in your chart- and my chart too/- I think that certain amount of "fame" /not literally, of course/ surrounds the person at least in some periods of life. I'd like to hear what's your experience. My understanding of Freedom's example is that it's not sufficient that the planet is in 10th ftom AL- but how strong it is as well- so your deb Me in 10th cannot bring the results Freedom mentioned for the strongest planet in kendra to AL If Venus is strong in 10th, I guess that would mean something related to art? Guest guest
Dear Anna, My Jupiter is retro. A 'none retro' Jupiter will probably act differently (more positive). However, it is (in my opinion) very important NOT to forget the planets rulership in the chart (func. ben./mal.) as well as it's placement (when with the AL). In my case it's in the 5th which is the 8th from the 10th so a "near fame" situation has occurred several times in the past but was always 'blocked' by 'circumstances'. I have Moon in the 10th to AL/Jup and NONE of Moon antardasa throughout my life were good (on the contrary) in any way (Moon is L12 in 2nd). Mercury is not in 10 to AL but in the 4th... This is clear if we understand that Parasara talks of fame when the AL lord is exalted. Which we can also connect to conjunct an exalted planet, or as Visti showed recently, the lord of the AL conjunct an Uccha planet. A planet must be pulling you up to give you fame. Neecha literally means fallen. In Orissa once, I dropped my camera and broke a corner and a little village boy looked at it and said ‘neecha’. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">We must also take into account houses from AL rules, which are slightly different than houses from Lagna. I lectured on this at the 2004 West Coast Conference and my lecture and paper (and lots of Visti’s and other good material are available from Laksmi). Here is a small excerpt about kendras: 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> “Rajas planets in a rajas placement are good, but each of the 4 kendras will increase rajas differently. The kendras can be put into two groups. The 4th and the 7th have to do with relationship, Venus is extremely good here. The 10th and Arudha Lagna has to do with reputation and karma, Mercury is very good here. If Mercury and Venus are in the opposite positions then the increase in rajas may be difficult for the individual to handle. A good painter or artist has Venus 4th or 7th from Arudha Lagna. Hitler had a 10th house Venus so the rajas was to much, but he wanted to paint. SJC Guru Sarajit has a 4th house Venus in a chara rasi, when he went into his Venus period he moved in the southeastern direction and had the free time to make incredibly artistic yantras. Hitler’s art wasn’t very good, his Venus was also in Bharani Naksatra (Tamas), a rajas planet in a tamas nakshatra is not promoting it.” Namah Sivaya 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> font-family:Tahoma;font-weight:bold">A.R. Guest guest
Thank you for this sharing- it's always good to hear first-hand experience.
