There is a significant difference in how a person 'behaves' based on the planets in 9th vs. those in 5th. Planets in the 9th is what the person considers as fortunate. They protect the indications of those planets to enjoy some sense of fortune. Problem is that malefics in the 9th tend to cause one to do Adharma, i.e. immoral acts, and this in turn gives them Dur-Bhagya. Take the case of Franklin D. Roosevelt: Roosevelt, Franklin D. Natal Chart Date: January 30, 1882 Time: 20:07:00 Time Zone: 4:56:00 (West of GMT) Place: 73 W 56' 00", 41 N 47' 00" In his chart, the 9th house is occupied by Jupiter and debilitated Saturn. Saturn being the malefic is 7th lord and indicates some adharma related to relationships. The A7 is in the 2nd from Upapada, and aspected by Saturn (Graha dristi) hence the possibility of extramarital affairs is there. He was one of the few to have admitted in office that he had an extramarital affair. In turn he got Polio in the legs, some time after. Saturn and Mars in the 9th house is a Yoga for loss of legs, here, Saturn is in a Martian sign in the 9th house, and he got a disease in the legs inhibiting him from walking. Here the dharma you perform and the bhagya you enjoy from it, go hand in hand. Now the 5th house is the future - i.e. what are you praying for and aspiring for. What must be given to your children/students/followers. Here the dharma your perform affects your children, just like the practice of a wrong mantra will show up first on your children, then later yourself. Here the punya in the form of Raja Yoga's gets delayed because of wrong actions and get enhanced due to the right ones. This is a very delicate area to work on, and hence astrologers have taken the use of Prasna along with the natal chart to acurately ascertain exactly how much good or bad you have done since birth, and how it affects your future. Some peoples promotions, good fortune, rajya yoga, etc gets delayed indefinitely due to the wrong actions performed in the past, and pennance is required to get over these. At the outset let me congratulate you sir, for this fantastic website. “Should Moon and Rahu join or aspect each other in the 5 th house (or its trines from either Lagna, or AK) the native will assume the nature of the destroyer of creation.” if the Çakti Yoga joins/aspects the trines to Lagna, the native will have a direct influence on the practice of the Çakti Yoga. if the Çakti Yoga joins/aspects the trines to Atmakäraka, the native will be driven to involve in the events carrying forth the Çakti Yoga, but will not make a conscious decision to get involved, if the lagna is not in trines. However in the examples considered, it seemed that 9th house (house of dharma) is of fundamental importance. Below is a scenario where 5th house is involved.... Scenario: --------- For Ta ascendant, Ra present in 5th house (Vi) as AK, with Moon giving Rasi drishti from Gemini. Will this constitute Shakti Yoga ? 9th house in un-occupied, but is aspected by exalted Jupiter (graha drishti) & Sa, Su, Me, Ma (Rasi drishti). Ra aspect falls on lagna & 9th house. I have Moon in arudha lagna(beeing Atmakaraka) and Ra in 5 to it ( beeing my Ishta devata) and Sun in 9H from AL.What kind of destruction it brings,and I how it's gona be shown,please answear me cose I get a bit worried. I would not consider this as a Shakti Yoga. I do believe a big surprise is coming in your current Shukra Antara Dasa.
