Guest guest
Hi Vinita, I normally steer clear of posts that require astro knowledge, so your Qs aimed at me is worrying. Try the cool Visti instead. I honestly don't know the answer to any of your Qs except for the one on ishta devata, which is to be reckoned as 12th from karakamsha. If 12h from karakamsha in your case is Cp and is vacant, try Narayana as ishta devata. If either Ju or Su is there, it'd be Shiva. I'd also guess that signs in divisional charts are as important as in D-1, but specifically for that facet for which you're looking at the D-chart in the first place. I don't even know what D-60 is; I remember my neurologist saying that my frontal lobes are primitively developed, and that explains it Cheers, Ramapriya - vinita kumar Saturday, November 27, 2004 8:32 AM [Om Krishna Guru] Reading Navamsa - Rampriyaji Dear Rampriyaji,I have been reading the lessons on this site and also the responses on queries on Navamsa and find both very interesting. Some more questions. While trying to read the Navamsa:1. which is more important - Lagamsha or Karakamsha?2. The reading should start from Lagamsha or Karakamsha?3. Are signs more important in Divisionals or Houses?4. It is interesting to relate Navamsa to the Rasi chart - should it also be related to D-60?5. There has been a lot of discussion of Ishta Devta - but I havn't got it right - so can you help me? The 12H from Karakamsha is Capricorn. Is the worship of Shiva O.K. for this? What if you have been initiated by a Guru. Will the mantra of the Guru co-incide with the mantra of the IShta devta - how to know this?6. What is meant by transition of Chara Karakas in a Chart? What is its significance?Regards,Vinita
Guest guest
Dear Rampriya ji, You reallly must be joking. I thought it was my frontal lobes that required development and the questions that I asked were so stupid / inane that they don't deserve an answer. As you must have guessed I am very very green in this area and don't know half the time what is being talked on this forum. As for your knowledge I remember you surprised me about how I should be treating my Saturn which would have turned stationary in 3 days from retro in the natal chart. That dosn't sound like a person who wants to steer clear from the subject of astrology. Anyway thanks for answering the questions which deserved an answer. Yes Capricorn is vacant in Navamsa. Though I don't do any mantra as of now I have inclinations towards Siva. They're the resident prayer aficionados Cheers, Ramapriya
Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Rema, Namaskar Comments below. Best wishes, Visti Larsen visti (AT) (DOT) org font-family:Tahoma;font-weight:bold">vinita kumar [vinita (AT) ub (DOT) nic.in] 27 November 2004 05:33 [Om Krishna Guru] Reading Navamsa - Rampriyaji 12.0pt"> font-family:"Courier New""> Dear Rampriyaji, I have been reading the lessons on this site and also the responses on queries on Navamsa and find both very interesting. Some more questions. While trying to read the Navamsa: 1. which is more important - Lagamsha or Karakamsha? [Visti] Karakamsa because it relates to the soul of the person, and what the soul is bringing with them from previous births. font-family:"Courier New""> 2. The reading should start from Lagamsha or Karakamsha? [Visti] That depends on what your focus is. Lagnamsa is how the person is experiencing this life, but the Karakamsa can reveal some of the reasons for these events. Usually when I see what the person is experiencing, I then go to Karakamsa and see why. font-family:"Courier New""> 3. Are signs more important in Divisionals or Houses? [Visti] both are equally important. font-family:"Courier New""> 4. It is interesting to relate Navamsa to the Rasi chart - should it also be related to D-60? [Visti] More so in the D-60, however the physical manifestation of dharma is seen in the d-9. font-family:"Courier New""> 5. There has been a lot of discussion of Ishta Devta - but I havn't got it right - so can you help me? The 12H from Karakamsha is Capricorn. Is the worship of Shiva O.K. for this? What if you have been initiated by a Guru. Will the mantra of the Guru co-incide with the mantra of the IShta devta - how to know this? [Visti] No, Guru’s do not always give you Ishta Devata Mantra’s, but there guidance will lead one to the Ishta Devata. font-family:"Courier New""> 6. What is meant by transition of Chara Karakas in a Chart? What is its significance? [Visti] Transition? You mean Chara Karaka replacement? Its when an internal change of ideals happens within the Atma, when the soul decides to change its stance in the world. This gives major changes usually. font-family:"Courier New""> Regards, Vinita ~ om tat sat ~ 10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New""> Thank you for maintaining the decorum of the Achyuta Ashram.
