Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Rafal and list , Namaskar Below is a writeup of almost everything i know about the Lagnesha. Please read this and apply yourselves to understand the nature of Lordships, in particular the Lagna lord. At a later date I shall publish this online. Please email me personally if you wish to publish this on your own website. Lagnesha, By Visti Larsen, Guide and Guru: Sanjay Rath (2004-11-26) 1. Basics of Lagna lord The Lagna lord is called Lagna-Isha or Lagnesha. Its other names are Lagneshvara, Lagnapati or Lagnapa for short. The sign in which the Lagnesha is posited is called Paka Lagna. In various compilations different names maybe used for the Lagnesha, which are usually given in the initial chapters of that particular compilation. Whilst the Lagna is the native as an entity moving in this world, the Lagnesha is that entity with intelligence applied in its interaction with the world. This can be described as follows; - The Lagna can be compared to a body moving down a street. Whilst it can see groceries, animals, people and other entities, it is separate from them and without interaction. - The Lagnesha is the Lagna when it has started to interact, i.e. talk to the people on the street, and hence the time when the intellect has been applied. Because the intellect is being applied, Jupiter becomes the Karaka for the Lagnesha. Similarly for other individuals, the lord of their house shows the application of their intellect. Malefics who are inimical towards Jupiter will damage the intelligence if joined Lagna lord and can cause psychotic disorders, whilst planets who are friendly towards Jupiter will benefit the intelligence when joined Lagna lord. Dhimantah Yoga, which is a combination for a person who is very eager to explore and study the universe, occurs when the Lagna or its lord is associated with the 3rd, 5th or 6th bhavas from Lagna. Similarly because the Karaka for the Lagna is the Sun, the Lagna lord will carry the qualities of the Sun to whichever Bhava it is posited in. The placement of the Lagna lord from the Sun can contribute to the health of the individual, similarly the sun's placement from Lagna itself should also be seen for health and vitality in particular. 2. Placement of the Lagnesha All life must come from somewhere, and similarly the Lagnesha's placement in any bhava will deprive that bhava of the lifefore and give it to the Lagna. This is akin to a tree who with time and growth starts to deprive the plants around it from their life force. For this reason Parasara states that Lagnesha in the 5th house is inauspicious for children. Similarly Lagnesha in the 9th house is inauspicious for father. The extent to which this is inauspicious must be analyzed in further detail and these Yoga's cannot be taken in issolation. Just as the Bhava the planet is placed in, is deprived of its lifeforce, another bhava becomes more auspicious. Count from Lagna lord back to the Lagna - the resultant ammount of signs will indicate the bhava who prospers. Example: If Lagnesha is in the 5th house, the the Lagna is in the 9th from the Lagnesha. This increases the prosperity of the 9th house, hence Parasara states that not only with the be misfortune to children if Lagnesha is in 5th house, but blessings from elders will also be there. Personal experience tells that if a person with Lagnesha in 5th house has children, they tend to develope some issue towards the children, and begins to percieve the children as a burden. Because the Lagna lord carries the karakatva of the Sun to the bhava it is placed in, Lagnesha in the 7th house causes the spouse to be dominating, just as Sun placed in 7th house will do. Such a person will let themselves be dominated by others than the spouse as well. If such a Lagnesha is in 7th or 12th and afflicted, it can cause serious disturbances in the intelligence of the person and they may consume aphrodisiacs or psychotropics. This can lead to addictions as well if Rahu is strongly influencing. The placement of the D-1 Lagnesha in Varga's is very relevant. Since the Lagnesha deals with intelligence, the placement of the d-1 Lagnesha in Navamsa, will indicate how easily the person can grasp and understand various concepts. This Lagnesha should be well placed from Navamsa Lagna and preferably not in an inimical sign. Since the Sun's natural year of maturity is the 22nd year (21/22), the results of the Bhava in which the Lagnesha is placed may arise in the 22nd year. Example: if Lagnesha is in the 10th house, Siddha Yoga and a boost in career begins in the native's 22nd year. Example2: Lagnesha in the 9th house, whilst Rahu influences Pitripada (A9) can cause premature demise of the father in the 22nd year. Similarly since the Lagna lord itself has the Karakatva of Jupiter, the Lagna lords auspicious placement may be bestowed on the native in the 16th year. Example: This author has Lagnesha as Ketu involved in a Kala Amrita Yoga. This authors interest in Jyotish and spirituality began in his 16th year. The subsequent ages of maturity for the planets; viz.: Sun; 21, 22, 48 and 70 and Jupiter; 16, 31, 32 and 56 Are equally relevant for judging the results. 3. Dispositor(s) of the Lagnesha The results of the Dispositor of Lagna/Lagnesha follows the principle of Kalpadruma Yoga (see references). - The Lagnesha itself represents the native's intelligence, and all general matters of the Lagna. - The dispositor of the Lagnesha (also known as Pakesha) is like the Sun and will represent the health of the individual. - The dispositor of the Paka Lagnesha (also known as Paka Pakesha) is like the Moon and will represent the native's ability to provide sustenance or wealth for themselves. - The Navamsa dispositor of the above Paka Pakesha (also known as Paka Pakeshamsa-amshesha) will represent the luck of fortune of the individual in achieving the wealth. If all 4 planets mentioned are in Kendra/Trikona or Exalted/Mulatrikona or Own sign, in the Rasi, then the native will be granted anything he asks and will have strong ideals. Such a person is a mighty sovereign, according to Parasara. It maybe inferred that if Lagna lord is in the Lagna, then 3 out of the 4 dispositors will be well placed, but the fortune of the native is solely dependant on the Navamsa Dispositor. By distinguishing one dispositor from the other, we can get a good understanding of various parts of the native's life, just by understanding the particular dispositor. The dispositor of the Lagnesha, will help in determining health problems. This is an addition to looking at the placement of the Sun from the Lagnesha. If the Pakesha (dispositor of Lagnesha) is badly placed, then during its Dasa, surely problems with the native's health will occur. The dispositor of Pakesha in the chart becomes very relevant to see whether the native can provide for themself or not. If badly placed from the Lagna, a wrong investment of energy may occur, leading the native into financial insecurity. If all 3 - viz.: Lagnesh, Pakesha, and dispositor of Pakesha are well placed, but the Navamsa dispositor of the latter is not, then thou the native may apply themselves correctly in all fields of focus, then luck will not shine upon them. This luck is the blessing of God and will ensure Bhagya/fortune on the native. The Navamsa dispositor can also be used on each of the 3 above, independantly. Example: the Navamsa dispositor of the Lagnesha will reveal the luck the native has through their interaction with the world. Example2: the Navamsa Dispositor of the Pakesha will reveal the luck the native has in improving their health. This knowledge can also be applied to any other Bhava's, but must be done intelligently. In usual practice dispositor of the particular Bhava lord is most important as it can reveal very important facts about that particular Bhava's health. I.e. dispositor of 4th lord, will show the mothers health. 4. Interaction with the world To understand a persons interaction with the world, we must analyse the Paka Lagna (treat Lagnesha as Lagna). Planets who are naturally inimical towards the Lagnaesha lord indicate individuals who are eager to overthrow the native, or take his/her place. However, if the Lagnesha is naturally friendly towards those planets, then trust may come upon someone who is not worth trusting. Example: should the Lagnesha be Mars, then Mars is neutral towards Saturn, however Saturn is deeply inimical towards Mars, hence whilst the native (lagnesha) will be indifferent towards Saturn, the native's indicated by Saturn will seek to harm the native. The next step in analyzing this Sambandha, is to apply Tatkalika or Temporal Sambandha. >From the Paka Lagna, the 10th, 11th, 12th, 2nd, 3rd and 4th houses are supportive of the native. The rest are not supportive. Notice that the 1st house is also not supportive. This principle is based on Raja Yoga Sambandha, or relationships for attaining position/fame/kingship. The planets in the 1st house (from Paka Lagna) are competing to attain Raja Yoga, and hence will not share with each other. This principle is coupled with the natural friendships. Example: if Lagnesha is Mars and Saturn is in the 3rd house from Mars, then Saturn though being inimical towards mars, will support him. This is like an enemy supporting oneself for the sake of he himself attaining power. Whilst a planet like Jupiter who likes Mars, if placed in the 7th house indicates a friend who will not support one, and act against the native for the sake of attaining personal fame and glory. The best possible position is that of friends in support of one - naturally. Special care should be taken to see the 4th house from the Paka Lagna. This house is bordering towards the 5th house which is an unsopportive house. Similarly planets in the 4th house are on the way to the 5th house. This is because the 5th house shows ones followers, or those who will succeed oneself. Hence planets in the 4th house are just about to take over ones position. If this is an inimical and/or malefic planet, then an enemy will take over this position. This is why malefics in the 4th house cause one to be cheated, as a shock comes to the native. This is known as Kapata Yoga and applies to the 4th from Lagna as well, in every divisional chart. Example: Ifmalefics are in 4th house in Navamsa, the native maybe cheated or feel cheated in marriage/relationships. Similarly the 10th from Paka Lagna shows those who previously didn't support you, and are now prepared to support you. 5. Result of Interactions Having understood the worlds disposition towards the native, we must now see the reactions that occur through this interaction. Previously it was mentioned that the Lagna lord is like Jupiter, the significator for children. Children arise out of union between the sun (father) and the moon (mother), in which the the two most important houses are the 2nd and 12th houses. Similarly from the Lagna lord, the 2nd and 12th houses are the single most important ones to judge how the native is reacting towards the world. The 2nd from Paka Lagna shows the native will react when advise about profession, career, wealth, sustenance, etc is given. Malefics here will show a bad reaction as the native becomes more sensitive in these issues. Benefics will show a very good and balanced reaction. The 12th from Paka Lagna should be treat to understand how the native reacts in matters regarding spouse, private life, intimacy, etc. Again malefics show a bad reaction whilst benefics show a good reaction. Whilst this is treated from Paka Lagna for the native, the feedback the native gets from others is seen from the 7th from Paka Lagna. For terminology's sake, this is known as Paka Lagna Saptama. Here the 8th house, being the 2nd from the 7th from Paka Lagna, will show the feedback the native gets from others when the native discusses issues of profession interest, i.e. career, money, etc. Malefics here show that the people do not take well to such kinds of discussions. Simlarly the 12th from the Paka Lagna Saptama, will show how others react towards the native, in discussions regarding private matters, i.e. spouse, intimacy, etc. The Paka Lagna Saptama itself, will reveal the first impression that other people get after interacting with the native - malefics like mars show that the person will feel as if they have angered the native. The native being the Paka Lagna. Thats not the end of it. We can treat the 9th from Paka Lagna to see how the Guru's and elders react after interacting with us, and the 5th from Paka Lagna to see howthe students/followers/children react after interacting with us. The 2nd and 12th from these is also applied, as above. Remedies for propper interaction All negatives seen from the Paka Lagna, are a result of a WRONG knowledge in the native. This wrong knowledge or intelligence, causes one to react badly to others or make others unhappy. It shows a lack of propper conduct. The remedy for this is to worship saints or rishi's, as their purpose in this world was to increase the intelligence in others. i.e. the worship of Maharishi Vyasa with the Mantra: "Om Vyasadevaaya Namah" will improve the persons intelligence and ensure propper interaction with people. Similarly Mantra's like the Gayatri, also work towards improving the intelligence and should be performed daily to avoid wrong interaction with others. 6. References - Personal teachings by Pt. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Visti, Very well written and very understandable examples.. Just a few questions below , basically urging you to write some more (: 1.Wont planets in Lagna change the results, specially in Sambandhana ? 2.What about debilitation/ exaltation and co lagna lords ? 3.Since the application of these rules will reveal so much about the nature of the native and inclinations in relationships, can these principles be used for match making ? or to work out remedies for couples who argue every night ? Best Wishes, Kanupriya. > > Lagnesha, By Visti Larsen, Guide and Guru: Sanjay Rath (2004-11-26) > > > > 1. Basics of Lagna lord > > The Lagna lord is called Lagna-Isha or Lagnesha. Guest guest
Er... thanks for a really cool write-up, but my response to Rakesh was because I thought that he was asking about how someone else's memory could be accessed. Not that I wasn't wrong, but that's why I answered what I did. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this. One question - for a person with Makar Lagna and Lagnesh placed in 5th house, how would Shani panoti effect him? Since Shani is the lagnesh would the effects still be as usual? The Paka pakesha is Venus and placed in it's own sign in the 10th house. Regards, RajKaru <heen (AT) netspace (DOT) net.au> wrote: Jaya Jagannath, Dear Visti, It is brilliant and thank you very much for sharing your understanding with us. Karu - Visti Larsen Friday, November 26, 2004 11:03 PM [Om Krishna Guru] Lagnesha, Lagnapati, Lagneshvara ||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Rafal and list , Namaskar Below is a writeup of almost everything i know about the Lagnesha. Basics of Lagna lord font-family:Georgia">The Lagna lord is called Lagna-Isha or Lagnesha. Its other names are Lagneshvara, Lagnapati or Lagnapa for short. The sign in which the Lagnesha is posited is called Paka Lagna. font-family:Georgia">In various compilations different names maybe used for the Lagnesha, which are usually given in the initial chapters of that particular compilation. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Whilst the Lagna is the native as an entity moving in this world, the Lagnesha is that entity with intelligence applied in its interaction with the world. font-family:Georgia">This can be described as follows; font-family:Georgia">- The Lagna can be compared to a body moving down a street. Whilst it can see groceries, animals, people and other entities, it is separate from them and without interaction. font-family:Georgia">- The Lagnesha is the Lagna when it has started to interact, i.e. talk to the people on the street, and hence the time when the intellect has been applied. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Because the intellect is being applied, Jupiter becomes the Karaka for the Lagnesha. Similarly for other individuals, the lord of their house shows the application of their intellect. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Malefics who are inimical towards Jupiter will damage the intelligence if joined Lagna lord and can cause psychotic disorders, whilst planets who are friendly towards Jupiter will benefit the intelligence when joined Lagna lord. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Dhimantah Yoga, which is a combination for a person who is very eager to explore and study the universe, occurs when the Lagna or its lord is associated with the 3rd, 5th or 6th bhavas from Lagna. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Similarly because the Karaka for the Lagna is the Sun, the Lagna lord will carry the qualities of the Sun to whichever Bhava it is posited in. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The placement of the Lagna lord from the Sun can contribute to the health of the individual, similarly the sun's placement from Lagna itself should also be seen for health and vitality in particular. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia;font-weight:bold">2. Placement of the Lagnesha font-family:Georgia">All life must come from somewhere, and similarly the Lagnesha's placement in any bhava will deprive that bhava of the lifefore and give it to the Lagna. This is akin to a tree who with time and growth starts to deprive the plants around it from their life force. font-family:Georgia">For this reason Parasara states that Lagnesha in the 5th house is inauspicious for children. Similarly Lagnesha in the 9th house is inauspicious for father. The extent to which this is inauspicious must be analyzed in further detail and these Yoga's cannot be taken in issolation. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Just as the Bhava the planet is placed in, is deprived of its lifeforce, another bhava becomes more auspicious. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Raj, Namaskar In my experience, transits work irregardless of what they lord in the natal chart. Otherwise if someone had Moon as 6th lord, we could say they got into accidents once a month, whilst those with Saturn as 6th lord get into accidents once every 30 years – and that logic just doesn’t work. Malefics here will show a bad reaction as the native becomes more sensitive in these issues. Benefics will show a very good and balanced reaction. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The 12th from Paka Lagna should be treat to understand how the native reacts in matters regarding spouse, private life, intimacy, etc. Again malefics show a bad reaction whilst benefics show a good reaction. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Whilst this is treated from Paka Lagna for the native, the feedback the native gets from others is seen from the 7th from Paka Lagna. For terminology's sake, this is known as Paka Lagna Saptama. font-family:Georgia">Here the 8th house, being the 2nd from the 7th from Paka Lagna, will show the feedback the native gets from others when the native discusses issues of profession interest, i.e. career, money, etc. Malefics here show that the people do not take well to such kinds of discussions. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Simlarly the 12th from the Paka Lagna Saptama, will show how others react towards the native, in discussions regarding private matters, i.e. spouse, intimacy, etc. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The Paka Lagna Saptama itself, will reveal the first impression that other people get after interacting with the native - malefics like mars show that the person will feel as if they have angered the native. The native being the Paka Lagna. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Thats not the end of it. We can treat the 9th from Paka Lagna to see how the Guru's and elders react after interacting with us, and the 5th from Paka Lagna to see howthe students/followers/children react after interacting with us. The 2nd and 12th from these is also applied, as above. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Remedies for propper interaction font-family:Georgia">All negatives seen from the Paka Lagna, are a result of a WRONG knowledge in the native. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. Yes, everyone has to go through Shani effects regardless of where Shani is located. However I meant that since in this case Shani is Lagnesh and in 5th house and also the Paka Pakesh (Venus) is in it's own sign (in 10th) will the effects be reduced somewhat? Would there be any benefits? Karu - Visti Larsen Friday, November 26, 2004 11:03 PM [Om Krishna Guru] Lagnesha, Lagnapati, Lagneshvara ||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Rafal and list , Namaskar Below is a writeup of almost everything i know about the Lagnesha. Count from Lagna lord back to the Lagna - the resultant ammount of signs will indicate the bhava who prospers. font-family:Georgia">Example: If Lagnesha is in the 5th house, the the Lagna is in the 9th from the Lagnesha. This increases the prosperity of the 9th house, hence Parasara states that not only with the be misfortune to children if Lagnesha is in 5th house, but blessings from elders will also be there. font-family:Georgia">Personal experience tells that if a person with Lagnesha in 5th house has children, they tend to develope some issue towards the children, and begins to percieve the children as a burden. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Because the Lagna lord carries the karakatva of the Sun to the bhava it is placed in, Lagnesha in the 7th house causes the spouse to be dominating, just as Sun placed in 7th house will do. Such a person will let themselves be dominated by others than the spouse as well. font-family:Georgia">If such a Lagnesha is in 7th or 12th and afflicted, it can cause serious disturbances in the intelligence of the person and they may consume aphrodisiacs or psychotropics. This can lead to addictions as well if Rahu is strongly influencing. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The placement of the D-1 Lagnesha in Varga's is very relevant. Since the Lagnesha deals with intelligence, the placement of the d-1 Lagnesha in Navamsa, will indicate how easily the person can grasp and understand various concepts. This Lagnesha should be well placed from Navamsa Lagna and preferably not in an inimical sign. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Since the Sun's natural year of maturity is the 22nd year (21/22), the results of the Bhava in which the Lagnesha is placed may arise in the 22nd year. font-family:Georgia">Example: if Lagnesha is in the 10th house, Siddha Yoga and a boost in career begins in the native's 22nd year. font-family:Georgia">Example2: Lagnesha in the 9th house, whilst Rahu influences Pitripada (A9) can cause premature demise of the father in the 22nd year. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Similarly since the Lagna lord itself has the Karakatva of Jupiter, the Lagna lords auspicious placement may be bestowed on the native in the 16th year. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Example: This author has Lagnesha as Ketu involved in a Kala Amrita Yoga. This authors interest in Jyotish and spirituality began in his 16th year. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The subsequent ages of maturity for the planets; viz.: font-family:Georgia">Sun; 21, 22, 48 and 70 font-family:Georgia">and font-family:Georgia">Jupiter; 16, 31, 32 and 56 font-family:Georgia">Are equally relevant for judging the results. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia;font-weight:bold">3. Dispositor(s) of the Lagnesha font-family:Georgia">The results of the Dispositor of Lagna/Lagnesha follows the principle of Kalpadruma Yoga (see references). font-family:Georgia">- The Lagnesha itself represents the native's intelligence, and all general matters of the Lagna. font-family:Georgia">- The dispositor of the Lagnesha (also known as Pakesha) is like the Sun and will represent the health of the individual. font-family:Georgia">- The dispositor of the Paka Lagnesha (also known as Paka Pakesha) is like the Moon and will represent the native's ability to provide sustenance or wealth for themselves. font-family:Georgia">- The Navamsa dispositor of the above Paka Pakesha (also known as Paka Pakeshamsa-amshesha) will represent the luck of fortune of the individual in achieving the wealth. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">If all 4 planets mentioned are in Kendra/Trikona or Exalted/Mulatrikona or Own sign, in the Rasi, then the native will be granted anything he asks and will have strong ideals. Such a person is a mighty sovereign, according to Parasara. font-family:Georgia">It maybe inferred that if Lagna lord is in the Lagna, then 3 out of the 4 dispositors will be well placed, but the fortune of the native is solely dependant on the Navamsa Dispositor. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">By distinguishing one dispositor from the other, we can get a good understanding of various parts of the native's life, just by understanding the particular dispositor. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The dispositor of the Lagnesha, will help in determining health problems. This is an addition to looking at the placement of the Sun from the Lagnesha. If the Pakesha (dispositor of Lagnesha) is badly placed, then during its Dasa, surely problems with the native's health will occur. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The dispositor of Pakesha in the chart becomes very relevant to see whether the native can provide for themself or not. If badly placed from the Lagna, a wrong investment of energy may occur, leading the native into financial insecurity. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">If all 3 - viz.: Lagnesh, Pakesha, and dispositor of Pakesha are well placed, but the Navamsa dispositor of the latter is not, then thou the native may apply themselves correctly in all fields of focus, then luck will not shine upon them. This luck is the blessing of God and will ensure Bhagya/fortune on the native. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The Navamsa dispositor can also be used on each of the 3 above, independantly. font-family:Georgia">Example: the Navamsa dispositor of the Lagnesha will reveal the luck the native has through their interaction with the world. font-family:Georgia">Example2: the Navamsa Dispositor of the Pakesha will reveal the luck the native has in improving their health. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">This knowledge can also be applied to any other Bhava's, but must be done intelligently. In usual practice dispositor of the particular Bhava lord is most important as it can reveal very important facts about that particular Bhava's health. I.e. dispositor of 4th lord, will show the mothers health. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia;font-weight:bold">4. Interaction with the world font-family:Georgia">To understand a persons interaction with the world, we must analyse the Paka Lagna (treat Lagnesha as Lagna). Planets who are naturally inimical towards the Lagnaesha lord indicate individuals who are eager to overthrow the native, or take his/her place. font-family:Georgia">However, if the Lagnesha is naturally friendly towards those planets, then trust may come upon someone who is not worth trusting. font-family:Georgia">Example: should the Lagnesha be Mars, then Mars is neutral towards Saturn, however Saturn is deeply inimical towards Mars, hence whilst the native (lagnesha) will be indifferent towards Saturn, the native's indicated by Saturn will seek to harm the native. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The next step in analyzing this Sambandha, is to apply Tatkalika or Temporal Sambandha. font-family:Georgia">From the Paka Lagna, the 10th, 11th, 12th, 2nd, 3rd and 4th houses are supportive of the native. The rest are not supportive. font-family:Georgia">Notice that the 1st house is also not supportive. This principle is based on Raja Yoga Sambandha, or relationships for attaining position/fame/kingship. The planets in the 1st house (from Paka Lagna) are competing to attain Raja Yoga, and hence will not share with each other. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">This principle is coupled with the natural friendships. font-family:Georgia">Example: if Lagnesha is Mars and Saturn is in the 3rd house from Mars, then Saturn though being inimical towards mars, will support him. This is like an enemy supporting oneself for the sake of he himself attaining power. Whilst a planet like Jupiter who likes Mars, if placed in the 7th house indicates a friend who will not support one, and act against the native for the sake of attaining personal fame and glory. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The best possible position is that of friends in support of one - naturally. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Special care should be taken to see the 4th house from the Paka Lagna. This house is bordering towards the 5th house which is an unsopportive house. Similarly planets in the 4th house are on the way to the 5th house. This is because the 5th house shows ones followers, or those who will succeed oneself. Hence planets in the 4th house are just about to take over ones position. If this is an inimical and/or malefic planet, then an enemy will take over this position. font-family:Georgia">This is why malefics in the 4th house cause one to be cheated, as a shock comes to the native. This is known as Kapata Yoga and applies to the 4th from Lagna as well, in every divisional chart. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Example: Ifmalefics are in 4th house in Navamsa, the native maybe cheated or feel cheated in marriage/relationships. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">Similarly the 10th from Paka Lagna shows those who previously didn't support you, and are now prepared to support you. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia;font-weight:bold">5. Result of Interactions font-family:Georgia">Having understood the worlds disposition towards the native, we must now see the reactions that occur through this interaction. Previously it was mentioned that the Lagna lord is like Jupiter, the significator for children. Children arise out of union between the sun (father) and the moon (mother), in which the the two most important houses are the 2nd and 12th houses. font-family:Georgia">Similarly from the Lagna lord, the 2nd and 12th houses are the single most important ones to judge how the native is reacting towards the world. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia">The 2nd from Paka Lagna shows the native will react when advise about profession, career, wealth, sustenance, etc is given. This wrong knowledge or intelligence, causes one to react badly to others or make others unhappy. It shows a lack of propper conduct. font-family:Georgia">The remedy for this is to worship saints or rishi's, as their purpose in this world was to increase the intelligence in others. i.e. the worship of Maharishi Vyasa with the Mantra: "Om Vyasadevaaya Namah" will improve the persons intelligence and ensure propper interaction with people. font-family:Georgia">Similarly Mantra's like the Gayatri, also work towards improving the intelligence and should be performed daily to avoid wrong interaction with others. font-family:Georgia"> font-family:Georgia;font-weight:bold">6.
