Gurudev Pranaam,

I have never seen my grand mother offering or worshiping shiv lingam.

I remember seeing picture of "Yogeshwar Shiva" sitting in meditation

form. Never seen Shiva-Parvati picture in her pooja room.

does it co-relate with Sun-Mars?

I think my earlier reply to this mail did not reach you. I was never

formally initiated into any mantra but these days this is the

stongest desire I have and that is why I started this quest for my

Mantra for this life.

But, Yes I have done "Gaytri Mantra Japa" for at least one and half

year. That was my Venus-Venus-Jupiter dasa. Starting year Mid 2000

(Venus Atam karak jupiter ista devta.) It sort of discontinued by

early 2002, but I studied spiritual material alot.. I mean alot...

(Ram Krishan Paramhans and Viveka Nanda, Sri Aurbindo) This was

primarily Venus-Sun Dasa. During Ven-Moon Dasa I experimented alot

with diffrent type of sunject. Done Shiva "Panchakshari Mantra" and

Shiv lingam puja for almost 4-5 month every day.

Now in Venus-mars dasa quest for mantra is high, Even for Guru. I

have being asking divine mother for guidence on this.
