Hello Sourav,

 

The link my guru Visti has sent will surely help. My two cents are as follows.

 

AK is the atma karaka or the very soul itself. Navamsa is the 1/9th division of

the Rasi chart. 9th house denoting dharma. This is the reason Navamsa is also

called as Dharma-amsa. Blessed are the ones whose dharma is guided by wife!

 

The position of AK in d-9 has the say in determining one;s istha devata.

Dear Visti, what does AK in Navamsa mean? Navamsa is a chart that refers

to life partner.

 

Not necessarily, I guess. D-9 is a purvapunya chart, which shows planetary

dharma. Since dharmic conduct is usually linked to marriage, there's an

indirect kind of insinuation, but that's about it.
