10th house

shows how you work – the nature of the planet there will show the nature

of your work – i.e. I have Mars in the 10th – so I can be

very dynamic, and am always trying to finish work – don’t like to

keep things pending – this makes me work fast too.

Now the

lordship of that planet in the 10th will show what I protect when I work

– my Mars is Lagna lord, so I am always elevating myself when I work –

i.e. my name and fame, etc. This is why Lagna lord in 10th is

considered very auspicious.

Now if 5th

lord is in the 10th, it means the native is always protecting

his/her followers/students/offspring, when they work. This ensures a big

following which continues to expand whilst working.

 

5th

house is 10th from the 8th and hence is the karma you do

in occult practices, and hence we associate this with practice of mantra,

jaapa, etc. the 5th lord is the bringer of mantra’s for you

and its placement will show how the mantra’s are being given to you, and

also what do you do with the mantra’s. However what is more important is

the 8th lord as it will show WHEN you will get the results of all

your sadhana.

The purpose/future

of all mantra’s is Yoga with Vishnu, hence the 5th from the 5th

is the 9th house where Bhagavan sits – this is the house of diksha

and Bhagavan-Yoga, which we get through Tapasya. This is also the 2nd

from the 8th and will sustain ones occult activities. Now see the

future of the 8th houses – 12th house, so the

purpose of all occult activities is to learn how to meditate and get mukti. This

is also the highest Sukha (4th) for Bhagavan as this is the 4th

from the 9th house.
