Dear Visti Ji!

Namaskar.

1. In Navamsa : when 2H is aspected by venus by

rasi drishti it also

can give extramaritial relationships ?

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] Räçi dristi = strong libido/virility. Graha dristi

= sexual desires/passion.

font-family:"Courier New"">

2. My 5H in d-20 is aspected by Moon - this makes

me a devotee of

Krsna ?

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] Yes – Moon or Mercury usually. I use abit

more to confirm whether its devi/krishna, etc. I have Mars and Sun aspecting an

unoccupied 5th house – I’m a bhakta of Sürya and Agni.

font-family:"Courier New"">

3. Why Jup in 3H in d-9 means that she will be

chaste , 9 house

means morals of spouse (7+9) , not morals of

herself ?

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] Sometimes the morals of those you associate with,

influence your morals/ideals. That’s why some people after their spouse

cheats on them, they start cheating on their spouse. In this chart, Only planet

in trines is Mercury. Mercury is neither influenced strongly by Moon (Soma –

his promiscuous father) nor Jupiter (Brhaspati his chaste step-father), so I cannot

look at it. Among Moon and Jupiter, Jupiter has rasi dristi on the Lagna. I

also look at Rähu who also has no connection with the Lagna. So finally I decided

that she was chaste, as Jupiter has the strongest influence on the Lagna.

font-family:"Courier New"">

4. In my Vimsamsa (d-20) : i have lord of 5

(devotion) in 10 house

(8+3 = energy to make sadhana) it is sign of work

in sadhana for

devotion ?

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] What does it mean in Räçi chart?

font-family:"Courier New"">

5. You said that UL with 8 H makes fixed marriage,

so UL in 8 means

fixed marriage ?

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] Nope – not necessarily. If UL is in the 8th

house – you feel indebted to your spouse – as if you owe them to be

married to them. But if 8th lord itself is there, then it may be a

fixed marriage.

font-family:"Courier New"">

6. When Planet is Vakra in Rasi, it is also Vakra

in D-n and the

meaning of Vakra stays the same in D-n charts ?

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] In my experience – yes.

font-family:"Courier New"">

Please tell me when You have enough;)

bold;font-style:italic">[Visti] Every day when i wake up, I do mantra’s

to ensure that I can teach, teach, teach. But now I must teach you to think in

the right lines, so you can answer your own questions… otherwise we could

Dear Visti,

I am tempted to ask about 5H in D20. I have Saturn, Venus in in 5H with rashi

drishti of Sun, Moon, Mars and Mercury and graha drishti of Rahu! which deity

am I likely to adore?

Can this knowledge be used for birth time rectification?

Is there a link between Ishta Devta and deity adored? I see Saturn, Venus and

Rahu, Mars and Sun involved in both!

Kind Regards

Ramesh

Dear Ramesh,

Namaskar

Yes it is

used for rectification.

Actually

Ishta means “most desired”. In Jätaka Parijata, the 5th house

is called; Ishta Devata, and that’s why many people have argued that

Sanjayji’s use of the term is wrong and have argued against many other of

his teachings in a similar manor. In fact some have completely abolished the

use of 12th from Kärakämça because of this.

But in the Parampara

that Sanjayji was brought up in, Ishta Devata SHOULD be that deity which gives

you moksha! Makes sense eh? This is a Parampara from Orissa where worship of

Jagannath is at its highest, so you can imagine the logic going into this.

So because of

this; Sanjayji was taught that the word; Ishta is used for the Mukti-devata, or

what you may call it.

To save us

from this trouble of having to argue with others - in Chandra Kala Nadi,

another name is given for the 12th from Kärakämça; Jeevanmukta-amsa.

Meaning; that division (amsa) that gives liberation in this body (jeevan-mukta).

Once we’ve

settled the confusion over terms, and we know that Jaimini uses the same 12th

from Kärakämça, we can proceed.

Now the 5th

house in Vimsamsa (particularly vimsamsa, but doesn’t mean Räçi cannot be

seen for similar indications) shows which deity you like the most. Some people

like to worship pisachas, and spirits. There is no chance that this will give

moksha, so we must admit to ourselves that 5th house does not have

to be connected to the Jeevanmuktamsa Devata. You may like one deity, but it is

a different one which is giving moksha. In most cases, the deity giving moksha

is realized after tedious worship of ones desired deity.

Preferably

you should like your Mukti-Devata, so aspire to have the Mukti Devata

associated with 5th house.

I like

Vishnu, and Mercury lords the 5th house in D-20, Mercury is also the

Mukti-devata in my case… lucky me. Which deity do you like?

Dear Visti,Namaskar

After reading this post of your I immediately went and checked my

Vimsamsa 5th house and its lord.

I personally like Lord Krishna, 5th house in D-20 is Virgo and

Mercury is in Cancer.

12th from karakamsa is Sg with no planets so Ishta Devata is

SambhaSiva ?

Please let me know if my reasoning is correct.

Dear Sameer,

Namaskar

Your

reasoning is correct.

As for Istha –

Jupiter actually means the Guru. It can be a Guru in any form – and the

point about Jupiter is that it encompasses all forms of God. It is the

Parambrahma form. To reach the Ishta Devata for such people is no doubt an

interesting process as here Vishnu is; Sarvavyapakeshvara – everywhere,

in everything.

To start with

realizing this, we usually advise the worship of Shiva as the Guru –

Sambashiva or Sadashiva. Try this mantra; “OM bhur bhuvaH svaH

sambasadashivaaya namaH”.

Best wishes,

Dear Visti,Namaskar

After reading this post of your I immediately went

and checked my

Vimsamsa 5th house and its lord.

I personally like Lord Krishna, 5th house in D-20

is Virgo and

Mercury is in Cancer.

12th from karakamsa is Sg with no planets so Ishta

Devata is

SambhaSiva ?

Please let me know if my reasoning is correct.

Dear Visti, Namaskar!

Many thanks for your enlightening mail.

My attempt to answer your last question brings up names like Lord Shiva, Guru

Nanak, Ganesha, Shirdi Sai baba..... I enjoy listening to 'Om Namo Narayana',

'hare krishna' and also 'guru bani'. I was lucky to have been brought up in a

religious surroundings (mother and a paternal uncle living with us). I am also

comfortable with Mother Marry and Jesus (Studied in a missionary school).

Does this tally with the planets influencing 5H in D20?

Kind regards

Ramesh

Dear Ramesh, Namaskar

Yes it is used for rectification.

Actually Ishta means “most desired”. In Jätaka Parijata, the 5th house is

called; Ishta Devata, and that’s why many people have argued that Sanjayji’s

use of the term is wrong and have argued against many other of his teachings in

a similar manor. In fact some have completely abolished the use of 12th from

Kärakämça because of this.

But in the Parampara that Sanjayji was brought up in, Ishta Devata SHOULD be

that deity which gives you moksha! Makes sense eh? This is a Parampara from

Orissa where worship of Jagannath is at its highest, so you can imagine the

logic going into this.

So because of this; Sanjayji was taught that the word; Ishta is used for the

Mukti-devata, or what you may call it.

To save us from this trouble of having to argue with others - in Chandra Kala

Nadi, another name is given for the 12th from Kärakämça; Jeevanmukta-amsa.

Meaning; that division (amsa) that gives liberation in this body

(jeevan-mukta).

Once we’ve settled the confusion over terms, and we know that Jaimini uses the

same 12th from Kärakämça, we can proceed.

Now the 5th house in Vimsamsa (particularly vimsamsa, but doesn’t mean Räçi

cannot be seen for similar indications) shows which deity you like the most.

Some people like to worship pisachas, and spirits. There is no chance that this

will give moksha, so we must admit to ourselves that 5th house does not have to

be connected to the Jeevanmuktamsa Devata. You may like one deity, but it is a

different one which is giving moksha. In most cases, the deity giving moksha is

realized after tedious worship of ones desired deity.

Preferably you should like your Mukti-Devata, so aspire to have the Mukti Devata

associated with 5th house.

I like Vishnu, and Mercury lords the 5th house in D-20, Mercury is also the

Dear Visti Ji!Namaskar.1. In Navamsa : when 2H is aspected by venus by rasi

drishti it also can give extramaritial relationships ?

[Visti] Räçi dristi = strong libido/virility. Graha dristi = sexual desires/passion.

2. My 5H in d-20 is aspected by Moon - this makes me a devotee of Krsna ?

[Visti] Yes – Moon or Mercury usually. I use abit more to confirm whether its

devi/krishna, etc. I have Mars and Sun aspecting an unoccupied 5th house – I’m

a bhakta of Sürya and Agni.

3. Why Jup in 3H in d-9 means that she will be chaste , 9 house means morals of

spouse (7+9) , not morals of herself ?

[Visti] Sometimes the morals of those you associate with, influence your

morals/ideals. That’s why some people after their spouse cheats on them, they

start cheating on their spouse. In this chart, Only planet in trines is

Mercury. Mercury is neither influenced strongly by Moon (Soma – his promiscuous

father) nor Jupiter (Brhaspati his chaste step-father), so I cannot look at it.

Among Moon and Jupiter, Jupiter has rasi dristi on the Lagna. I also look at

Rähu who also has no connection with the Lagna. So finally I decided that she

was chaste, as Jupiter has the strongest influence on the Lagna.

4. In my Vimsamsa (d-20) : i have lord of 5 (devotion) in 10 house (8+3 =

energy to make sadhana) it is sign of work in sadhana for devotion ?

[Visti] What does it mean in Räçi chart?

Dear Ramesh,

Namaskar

When a person

has such a broad preference – it means that 5th lord and 7th

house/lord are associated in the Räçi.

4th

lord may even be connected because of the influence of school.

Jupiter

indicates the Guru’s which you like – it should be associated.

Please give

us your chart for reference.

Dear Visti, Namaskar!

I am enclosing the chart based on time, as I could read in my kundali. A learned

member of the group has rectified it to 9:09:05. Rashi Chart remains the same

but D20 changes. Jupiter is 5L placed in 6H, Rashi drishti of 7L Saturn. 4L

Mars has graha dristi on Jupiter!

Dear Ramesh, Namaskar

When a person has such a broad preference – it means that 5th lord and 7th

house/lord are associated in the Räçi.

4th lord may even be connected because of the influence of school.

Jupiter indicates the Guru’s which you like – it should be associated.

Please give us your chart for reference.

Best wishes,

Ramesh

|Hare Rama Krsna|

Mukti-devata in my case… lucky me. Which deity do you like?

Best wishes,

Visti Larsen

Subject: [sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] ques tions - to

Visti JI!

5. You said that UL with 8 H makes fixed marriage, so UL in 8 means fixed marriage ?

[Visti] Nope – not necessarily. If UL is in the 8th house – you feel indebted to

your spouse – as if you owe them to be married to them. But if 8th lord itself

is there, then it may be a fixed marriage.

6. When Planet is Vakra in Rasi, it is also Vakra in D-n and the meaning of

Vakra stays the same in D-n charts ?

[Visti] In my experience – yes.

Please tell me when You have enough;)

[Visti] Every day when i wake up, I do mantra’s to ensure that I can teach,

teach, teach. But now I must teach you to think in the right lines, so you can

answer your own questions… otherwise we could spend a lifetime asking and

answering questions.
