In case of Jupiter, say children. Second is look at the 7th from the planet. That is because we are talking of desires(7th house) and every planet(except moksha karaka Ketu) gives 7th house aspect! The retrograde planet will give results in the area of that house, which is in the 7th from it. This also explains, why a retrograde planet acts as debilitated, when in exaltation sign and vice-versa. Generally, retro planets give results very late, after a lot of effort! There was an exchange of mails a couple of weeks ago. Please have a look at them. In case of a retro Jupiter, the native may have lot of desire for having children and adopt modern methods (unconventional, which is not a Jupiterian trait, rather like a Rahu!) to obtain children. (i am not judging any one here) Atmakaraka is a different thing. Car owner (jeevatma) is going wherever the driver (mind) is taking. Car itself is like the lagna, which the driver is more concerned about, because here the owner is a silent spectator! Try to understand retrograde planets, without getting into AK, which is like a King's desire, overrides everything else.
