Dear Sumanth:

Traditionally, planets aspecting their 'Own Homes' or 'Houses' are thought to be

very strong, because they're looking back and more positively affecting, those

'homes'....

Though you're right, what Planet is aspecting and what Houses they're in does

indeed make a difference....

Take the Lord of the 7th in the lst....or

Lord of the first in the 7th...

Normally, this would be a relatively more positive situation...

but because the simultaneous 'symbolism' of these Lords...going to the houses,

oppositte to their own homes, has another less positive side....

People with first house Lords, in the first house, tend to try and dominate

others, as if their first house, 'lord', of 'self' has as if, invaded the house

of the other...

Also, there's the situation of the 7th house, going to the 1st, which quite

often represents where the quality of the 7th, has in fact, invaded the

sanctity or strenght of the first....to consider...

The ideal of course is to have the Lord of each sign in their Own House...

Lord Ram was supposed to have such a chart...

We all can therefore aspire to strengthen, and even transform our planets so

they grow in strength and therefore become less malefic,...and

maybe...even....benefic!

Respected astrologers

I want to know , whether there is any significance in planets aspecting its own

house hold. i want to whether a planet lord of 8th in 2nd and aspecting 8th

improves 8th house matters. One common feeling that " a planet will never harm

its own house ( as with human beings). is this is correct.
