Guest guest
Dear Sat Siri and all, I have a question about Sarvatobhadra Chakra. How do we determine if a planet is going at a normal, and not accelerated speed? Have you had a chance to check out if the vedhas only seem to work, or only work well, in the direction indicated by the planetary motion ?( retrograde, forward, and hind). This is such a great tool we learned in California for Sanjay this summer, I'm trying to learn to use it as well. Thanks, and Blessings, Willa
Guest guest
Namaste Willa, There are different theories about vedhas, and probably we need to do more research to establish certainty. The most liberal theory is that planets make vedhas in all 3 directions front back and across and all are effective. Variation on this theory says only luminaries and nodes are effective in all 3 directions. The less liberal theory is that the vedha depends on the speed. The speed must be found from a program that tells you daily speed of planets. (Sri Jyoti Star is one that does) Of course retrograde is retrograde. Sun and Moon are always considered accelerated. For the rest, question is where does normal end and accelerated begin. Here is a table of speeds: Planet Speed at which acceleration speed begins Mars 39 min 1 sec or 39.017 min per day Merc 104 min 46 sec or 1.746 degrees per day Jup 12 min 22 sec or .20611 degree per day Ven 73 min 43 sec or 1.19528 deg per day Sat 7 min 27 sec or 7.45 min per day Even going further, one author says rasi aspect or drishti is like when you are looking at a building from a distance; you see it is there. Vedha is when you have binoculars and can look inside the rooms of the building. He says that unless rasi aspect is there vedha does not count. So that is the least liberal interpretation of vedha: not only must it be in the singular direction determined by the planet's speed, but there must also be a rasi aspect on the place. That's why for Kerry I became concerned about his Venus vedha on Sun. By speed it does not happen, nor is there a rasi aspect. Must say, however, after last nights successful debate I want to rethink the interpretation! (A wise leader knows when to change course :>)) ) One bad fact for the Bush SBC that could overrule all the good stuff is this: the Moon on Election Day transits a "Set" nakshatra. Sanjay ji pointed out how important it is when a transit of a factor, especially pertaining to finance, is going through the side of the SBC square where the Natal Sun of the person is. That entire side of the SBC is considered "set" as in "sunset" and can get no traction financially. Moon on Election Day is in Ardra untill mid afternoon and then in Punarvasu, and is Set for Bush (not for Kerry). It winds up in Punarvasu as the results are known, on Bush's exact Natal Sun and puts vedha on his 27th nakshatra which is Desha or Country. Now if we apply the Conservative reading, there is no Vedha because there is no aspect from actual Gemini---Punarvasu to Utt Phalguni where Desha is. So where there should be a connection there is not. Set Moon coming on Bush's natal Sun??? Bad?????? also, that Bush AK Venus in coronation (28th) Abhishekha nakshatra happens to be debilitated and with its enemy Jupiter interested to hear other opinions be well Sat Nam Sat Siri , "Willa Keizer, C.C.H." <willa@h...> wrote: > Dear Sat Siri and all, > > I have a question about Sarvatobhadra Chakra. > > How do we determine if a planet is going at a normal, and not accelerated > speed? Guest guest
Namaste Sat Siri, Thanks so much for the clarification. This is very helpful. Since Jupiter is karaka of good fortune, how will it affect debilitated Venus? It seems like it should be good for Venus overall. I wouldn't think the aspect of the moon would be bad, just becasue it is in the "set" side of the square. Just my humble neophyte thoughts. I'd love to learn more.
