Allow me to share some of my understanding…

 

What you are referring to is the Naisargik (natural) significations of

the planets.

 

Amongst the 3 significations, when referring to the AtmaKaraka, use

the Chara Kaaraka scheme. More on this at:

The AtmaKaraka in a state of exaltation is enjoying what it is doing.

(Always cross-check Navamsa and look at entire chart as well.)

Hi,

 

I understand that the Atmakaraka is King in the chart, and that the

other planets cannot go against it. So, if in a Cancer Asc, if Venus

is the Atmakaraka, what happens ? Venus is a temporal malefic for

Cancer asc. So does it mean that, no good is going to come from the

benefics, at all ?

 

What would be the effect if Venus were in exaltation in this same

chart ?
