Guest guest
||Shri GaneshDattaGurubhyo Namah|| Ramapriyaji, Even though your Question is directed to Gurus , I'll like to cotribute some of my views. For transit we must have to use Tripod basis (i.e. From Sun,Moon,Asc all three) Mere Moon as ref will not reveal every thing. AL also is very imp while looking for transits and If I 'm not wrong even in Gurujans writings we are getting ref of AL. I think some may have objections to Sun but not on Asc. Also regarding transit I'm having some questions:- 1) If Sat is transiting through 12th H and having zero (0) points in his BAV what results should be expected? (This is just for theory purpose) RAGHUVIR SAMARTHA Vinay Patwardhan , "Ramapriya D" <hubli@h...> wrote: > Dear gurus, > > Why is that the effect of planetary transits is only reckoned vis-a- vis the natal Moon and not the natal lagna? Guest guest
Dear Ramapriya ji, Although i am not a Guru as of now but i will try to explain atleast some part of the it. The Moon is the fastest moving planetary body used for the transits. Therefore it makes most aspects to your natal planets. Other planets such as Mercury, Venus, Mars, etc move more slowly and therefore, it takes longer for them to get to a position where they aspect a natal planet. One of the basic theories of Hindu astrology is that all influences of planets fructify through the Moon, i.e., the Moon being the heavenly body nearest the earth, the influences filter through the Moon. Besides, all happiness and unhappiness is experienced by the mind or the heart. I hope the above helps.
