Guest guest
Hari, Take the simhasan yoga with a generous helping of salt. I have simhasan yoga too, and my career is nowhere in sight yet. And I'm in the latter part of my life already :\ I've seen two other charts with much the same kind of results. That said, my friend Ramesh Gangaramani who regularly writes quality scholarly stuff here has this yoga too and he's doing brilliantly. He has an Excel version of all the classics ) Overall, I guess it depends on other factors in the chart. Aspects of retro planets do NOT change... whoever gave you that idea? But retro grahas do take their time showing off Cheers, Ramapriya - hk_v2004 Monday, August 30, 2004 10:09 AM [sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] Query on my Horoscope Hi all,Even though I could point out some good combinations. They seem to be cancelled with another bad combination.Let me give some examples1) Venus exalted in first house is a case of Malavya Yoga. But it is retrogade and combust.2) 5th House lord,Moon is vargottama and the AK and in 10th House for rasi lord without any influence. But it is also a case of Kemadruma Yoga.3) Sun and Venus(Sashtashtakadhipati - 6 & 8th house lords) together in Lagna and aspecting the AK by rasi drishti. Jupiter being in parivartana with venus and in the constellation of sun(krittika). But 8th house occupied by Rahu. This seems to be a candidate of VRY but I am not very sure. Also can anyone explain the effect of 1) Retrogade sani in cancer. I have always seen that sani in cancer has a special significance. But never seen a chart of vakri sani in cancer. See Note2) Vargottama of rahu/ketu, sun and moon. This should mean good for any yoga as luminaries in vargottama will mean good for any raja yoga. But for rahu/ketu , I have not come across people with them in vargottama.3) Aspect of vakri sani. Say it graha drishti on mercury and ketu in aries. Sani aspect is considered bad but what about vakri sani. Will the rules of aspect change for vakri planets?regardshari
Guest guest
Hi RamaPriya, Thanks for your comments. I do agree when u ask me to take simhasana yoga with a pinch of salt but let me just attach my mom's chart and then we will discuss. What I am coming to is that even when we see standard raja yogas, the rise of a person is not directly depending upon it. for ex. my mom has 2 planets in exaltation, 5 and 9 house lord exhange, rahu in exaltation in taurus and then the above said simhasana yoga. She did have a good life but it did not lead to a 'raja yoga'. So I wanted to understand how the same yoga will give fame/fortune for some and not for others. I know this comes from experience. That is what I am counting on here :-) So is it possible for the learned members to explain for the chart given below how and why the results been so moderate. BTW, My mom herself has pretty good grounding in astrology and I have learnt my bit from her. regards hari -- These calculations were made using "Jagannatha Hora Lite". Guest guest
Hi Srinivas, - Srinivas Rao Tuesday, August 31, 2004 9:52 AM [sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] Query on my Horoscope Can any one help me that I can able to purchase the house in next 1-4months on loan. Sure. Try HDFC or ICICI, both would love to help out. Can it possible on Running Sani-venus-venus dasas. 4l Ve aspects 4h, but from a position of not much digbala. An exalted Ma aspecting A4 would generally be good for property-related matters, I'd guess. Both sa-ve-ve or sa-ve-su should be ok from this perspective. Before taking the leap, get a more knowledgeable consultation By the way, did you notice that your chart has a lot of similarities to Sachin Tendulkar's? ) All the best, Ramapriya
