Guest guest
Dear Vishwanatham, Hare Rama Krsna! >1. If you are listening to PVR's lectures at Boston, it is First cry >that is applicable in Kaliyuga.Four definitions for the four >Yugas.Pls listen to his lectures. This is interesting. Do you know of any scriptural references for this? I mean, not necessarily from jyotish scriptures, but perhaps in some Purana or so... I have given the example of the Jyotishi earlier, (was it Varahamihira?) who was at a distance of a few hundred meters and recorded the birthtime of his son when he heard the baby cry, but made a mistake since he forgot to calculate the speed of sound. It appears logical, since we do rectify with Pranapada system. And persons like Sukadeva Goswami, Duryodhana and Jarasandha were then born in the previous Yuga, that would be correct, since we do not have the knowledge in this Age to bring forth such births. What would be the birthtimes regarding the other Yugas?
