Sriram,

For what it's worth, in a couple of days, I'll commence keying in an Excel

worksheet listing the coordinates of Indian cities, towns and villages. I hope

to cover 4 or 5000 places. And of course I'll give away the worksheet free to

anyone in India who might find use for it, even if they use it for subsequent

commercial enrichment.

Here is an Excel file with 1333 places in India (which isless than 4000 but I hope it helps).
