Yes, in JHL5 it would be 48' less, other softwares also give slightly

different calculations for ayanamsa, which is another factor contributing

to the "error" in birthtimes.

 

Let's have an example, yet not one in the category of changing chara

karaka's. I'll send some like that later, after some more research.

See the attachment: I rectified the chart of this native (born 24 March

1974, Deventer in the Netherlands) from the recorded birthtime of 17:15 to

16:58 because of Saptamsa. 1st child born on Trayodasi tithi (JU) 2nd

child born on Caturthi tithi (Merc), so it becomes obvious that lagna in

D-7 should be Sag. Then let's ask the question: what happened with his 2

children and what is their sex?
