Dear Dhira,

 

i know you are doing a good amount of research in this area.

Unfortunately, i have not much to contribute through this mail.

 

Presently, when we say 'error' in the birth time, this error has many

components in it, including the factor on account of ayanamsa.

 

My question broadly was if we can fix AK, first, like we fix Rasi

Lagna. While fixing the chara karakas, Ayanamsa may play a bigger

role compared to adding/subtracting a few minutes from the birth

time.

 

All this in the hope that Chara karakas will provide a clue to the

correct ayanamsa.

 

You said you are using 48' less than Lahiri ayanamsa? Can you confirm

that.
