Intro and a linguistic question

Greetings to all from Croatia!

At last I decided to break ice and join some serious Jyotish discussion

group. My primary goal is learning, and most probably most of my activity

here will be lurking other people's posts

I also have a question regarding terminology: is there any dictionary of

Jyotish terminology out there? Trouble with learning from partial sources

is lack of consistency in terminology, and it is exactly what happens with

Jyotish - many people use many more words. Sanskrit or Hindi dictionaries

are of no use here as most of these words are already changed (I tried).

There is an Itrans coding scheme for devanagari (and other) scripts that

works great, but quite seldom in use by Jyotish experts
