But i have been thinking about it for some time and feel that there is more to the meaning of Karakamsa which I do not know. I do know only this much which is that where AK sits in the D9, that becomes Karakamsa lagna and also 12th from it shows the Istha Devata. The amsha means division and when pertaining to the atmakaraka in the navamsha becomes karakamsha. So this is the signification of the self in the ninth division indicating dharma in general. But the navamahsa is significant also because there are nine grahas and this division is by 9 so it may be of more general use when interpreting. Now when Cancer is the AK-sign in D9 or AK is Moon or joined the Moon in D9, then just like Soma one will steel the wife of Brihaspati (Tara) and get cursed for this by Shiva. My Cancer karakamsa has one way or the other got me into situations where the partner either recently ended a relationship with someone else, or was still in a relationship with someone else. And this has happened to me twice without me knowing until much later, and notably in Moon and Rahu antara dasas. Taurus in navamsa lagna is getting pleasure and or receiving troubles from, cows etc. rahu can give many things, but i can think of two things, 1) dont eat meat 2) do something for cow protection Lakshmi In , "V. In the worst case scenario this would result in determining their AK for next birth. What if someone who is aware of this and tries to minimise the damage caused to others then what will determine their AK for next life ? As far for that Brihaspati-Tara story conected,it comes like we breath in some parts of mithology stories or they actually live in some deeper subconcious levels of ourselves.As I heared even beeing born on 6.Tithi(when it's said Ch took Tara) person lives that kind of story-curse of Shiva. I looked for karakamsa signs explanations,but basicly when both Jaimini and BHS mention those-it's usualy being conected to some kind of "troubles,fears,dangers etc." one is to expirionce,so what other sorce can we relate to have more of this inner mithology conections to signs? Puranas? And one more thing-sorry for prolongig letter:),just before it was mentioned that Karakams as it covers AK-matters,soul directions as difference to D1-body,how then Parasara and Jaimini have wide explanatins on 4H as well concerning houses and way they are constructed ? Does this mean that the physical suffering that such an illness may cause is not the results of past actions? Or is that too simplistic – in which case it must be that the conflict between mind and soul is the true "suffering", which is caused by past actions. And the disease is only a manifestation of that struggle at a subtle level. Which is true? The time just before combustion is the most sinful phase, but as soon as one has entered the 3rd eye of Shiva, the penance begins and the sins a burnt.
