Guest guest
Pranams ! Dear Shri.Visti Ji, Thank you for your kind mail. You have very correctly explained my situation regarding progress in spirituality.Added to that is the fact that my mind is never steady and wanders too much.I also constantly worry about my children. I will do as you suggested and strengthen the planets. Can you please advice me how to go about it? I am very keen to read your paper on the use of D20.But does it not require very accurate birth time?Infact I am keen to read all your written materials/books already published, especially on the use of divisional charts, birth time verification, prognosis on the quality of marriage etc.How can I read/buy them? I'm preparing a paper on Spirituality and use of Vimsamsa, which i expect to present on the East Coast this Summer. Whilst the 2 benefics in 6th from AL are making you a good and god-fearing person, the dispositor Mars is going to try and make you move towards material persuits, not spiritual. Problem is actually the relationship between the Sun and Lagna lord, as they are in 2/12 from each other. This gives a problem in timing, causes rejection, ignoring, etc the path of supreme knowledge - the Sun. Hence spirituality will be tough to come by. The hope comes with the dispositors of both being joined - Mercury and Venus, hence you should strengthen these two planets to strengthen your Yoga for spirituality. As this is in the Rasi, these planets will specifically strengthen your physical Yoga towards spirituality. You will find that the Navamsa dispositor of the Sun is Saturn himself. Thats why you have come to a spiritual field - bhagya. Hence strengthening the Lagna lord - Saturn will naturally bring you to this field but to make your personal yoga with spirituality stronger, you must strengthen Mercury and Venus. Best wishes, Visti.
Guest guest
Dear Ash, Nice to see your mail. Visti Ji was telling about the indications in one's chart that may make him turn to the spiritual path and sustain him there. Please remember that Sri.Budha was a prince living a life of luxury. But he turned to spirituality just by the sight of poverty and decease.I think this is possible only if it is indicated in his chart. What you have said is also correct.Only when adversities sorround us,we will think of God but it need not make us sustain there unless it is supported by his chart. Paul Brunton was living a life of comfort in Englad but there was an irrestible urge in him to come to India and finally to the feet of Aruna Maharshi. In the Hindu system also, one has to go through brahmacharyam, grahasthashramam and then only Vanaprastham and finally Sanyasam. I am in that Vanaprastham stage and very much desire to make progress in the spiritual path but unable to do so as I am not able to control the mind and make it turn away from the world experienced through my 5 sense organs. So there are no simple answers.
