Guest guest
Dear List, I have some querries regarding Yogi & AvaYogi Planets. 1. Lord of the Nakshatra is Taken by which Dasha system-Vimsottari or any other. I hope Visti may help me out! .............."You can alternatively add 93 degrees 20 minutes to the total of the Sun and Moon's longitudes from 00.00 degrees Aries. Where the total finishes is the yoga point and the lord of the nakshatra is the yogi planet. ..........." What is the role of Sah-Yogi or Duplicate Yogi Planet vis-a-vis Yogi Planet. 2. What is Dagdha_rashi? If someone could enlighten on this aspect too. Thanks in advance, regards, Pankaj Sharma Gorakhpur Ramesh Gangaramani [ramesh.gangaramani (AT) ae (DOT) york.com]Wednesday, April 21, 2004 11:35 AMssa (AT) ner (DOT) railnet.gov.inSubject: RE: [sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] Yogi & Avayogi Point : Guidance Required Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Dear Pankaj, I am attaching a small write up that I have. Guest guest
Dear Pankaj, The nakshatra lord is based on the Vimsottari sequence. Ketu, Venus, Sun, Moon, Mars, Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury. There are 30 Thithis and 27 Yogas. Yoga is the sum of Moon + Sun longitude and thithi is the difference Moon - Sun longitude. Yogi: lord of the nakshatra containing the birth yoga point. Duplicate Yogi: lord of the Rashi containing the birth yoga point. Ava Yogi: enemy of the yogi, adverse for the yogi. Yogi -- Ava Yogi ---------------- Sun -- Saturn Moon -- Mercury Mars -- Ketu Mercury -- Mars Jupiter -- Sun Venus -- Jupiter Saturn -- Moon Rahu -- Venus Ketu -- Rahu Dagdha Rashi: these are burnt Rashis. "Bhavas counted by them, their lords and planets in such Rashis lose their power, unless retrograde." -- H.R. Seshadri Iyer. Positive and Negative: Positive rashi = own bhava. Positive bhavas = bhavas except 3, 6, 8, or 12 Positive planets = birth yogi and duplicate yogi, lords of positive bhavas that are not also dagdha. Positive nakshatra = nakshatra of positive planets. Negative rashi = debilitation bhava and dagdha rashi. Negative bhavas = 3, 6, 8, and 12. Negative planets = birth avayogi, dagdha lords, lords of negative bhavas. Negative nakshatra = nakshatra of negative planets. Main rule for rashi, bhava, or nakshatra: Positive in Positive or Negative in Negative yields positive results. Mixed yields negative results. Only the dagdha rashi suffers of the two ruled by a planet. There are 34 theories (rules) of how to judge these effects. Guest guest
Dear Pankaj and members, I left out a very significant exception to H.R. S. Iyers rules of judgement, which is that: Negative planets in the nakshatra or rashi of the lagna is good. Also if the lagna is a dagdha rashi it is good anyway. , "dhamakesin" <dhamakesin@s...> wrote: > Dear Pankaj, > > The nakshatra lord is based on the Vimsottari sequence.
