Mahamrityunjaya Mantra & Serious Daughter Query

Dear Respected Panditji Rath & Members,1]Is it forbidden to do jap of

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra since it is nailed (Utkil)& instead the Mahamrityunjaya

stotram be done?[s.Rath:] Definitely not. This is given by Rishi Vasistha in

the Rg Veda at Mandala 7. So do the anusthup mrityunjaya mantra which starts

with "tryambakkam...maamritaat". For the other bija akshara, diksha is

necessary, so you should avoid it and do what Vasistha has said.2] If Om is

added before and after the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, is it considered

OK?[s.Rath:] OM is normally prefixed to the mantra i.e. before the mantra and

is normally the brathing in of Prana before each recitation i.e. it is best

done silently. However, as per the Rg Veda Rik 'Gananaam tva ganapatim..etc, OM

can be added before any mantra and this is upported by the Agni purana.3] In the

Mantra, is the pronounciation "Bandhanaat" or "Bandhanaan"?[s.Rath:] Read the

Rig Veda for yourself. It is freely available in the net also at

sanskrit.gde.net 4] If the Mantra is done Samput by saying " Om Jhum Sah

Trayambakam yajamahe, Sugandhimpushtivardhanam, uurvarookamiva bandhanaat,

mrtiyormukshiya maamritaat, sah jhum om" is the same ok?[s.Rath:] The full

samputa is "Om haum jum sah bhur bhuva svah"...rest is as per standard norms.

but why not recite what is given in the veda? 5] My daughters data is

11.08.1999 at 16:04:36 hrs at Junagadh in Gujarat. I am pretty worried about

her Mercury- Saturn Dasha & Antar Dasha and then the coming Ketu Mahadasha.

Which are the dates I need to be careful of and relating to what? I shall

Mrityunjaya Yagna for her. Since the age of 3 she says the entire Hanumaan

night.[s.Rath:] She should not fear anything then. Avoid sarpa puja and instead

focus on the devata as taught by the Maharishi's. Why not increase the number of

mrtyunjaya mantra. 6] Is her Ishtdevtaa the Kruma dashaavtaar and has she to

worship with Mantra "Om Namo Bhavate Akuparaya" in her present life

time?[s.Rath:] If saturn is in 12th from karakamsa then it will be Kurma avatar

and the mantra is as given by you. om namo bhagavate akuparaya... I shall be
