Guest guest
Dear Respected Panditji Rath & Members, 1]Is it forbidden to do jap of Mahamrityunjaya Mantra since it is nailed (Utkil)& instead the Mahamrityunjaya stotram be done? 2] If Om is added before and after the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, is it considered OK? 3] In the Mantra, is the pronounciation "Bandhanaat" or "Bandhanaan"? 4] If the Mantra is done Samput by saying " Om Jhum Sah Trayambakam yajamahe, Sugandhimpushtivardhanam, uurvarookamiva bandhanaat, mrtiyormukshiya maamritaat, sah jhum om" is the same ok? 5] My daughters data is 11.08.1999 at 16:04:36 hrs at Junagadh in Gujarat. I am pretty worried about her Mercury- Saturn Dasha & Antar Dasha and then the coming Ketu Mahadasha. Which are the dates I need to be careful of and relating to what? I shall appreciate a response. I have done (Today is the poornahuti)a Sarp Shanti Yagna & Maha Mrityunjaya Yagna for her. Since the age of 3 she says the entire Hanumaan Chalisa, Mrityunjaya (3 times) by herself morning and before sleeping at night. 6] Is her Ishtdevtaa the Kruma dashaavtaar and has she to worship with Mantra "Om Namo Bhavate Akuparaya" in her present life time? I shall be deeply obliged by a considered response. Warm regards Mihir Chhaya
Guest guest
Dear mihirchhaya, I learned Mahamrityunjaya Mantra from Sri Karunamayi. The transcription of sanskrit that she uses is "bandhanat". However in the recording available from SMVA (www.karunamayi.org) the final t is silent or modified somehow. If you listen carefully to the recording it sounds like: urvaarukamiva bandhanaa mrtyormukshiiya maamrtat I am not an expert at Sanskrit sandhi so can not answer the question of correct pronunciation based upon formal rules.
