In case the LokSabha is dissolved before 5 years or in case it has exceeded upto 6 years [emergency] and we have to determine some past event which has really occured in past regarding the LokSabha, do we take Purnaayu as 5 years only in all these past cases also.[s.Rath:] In all cases, take the purnaayus as 5 years which it was supposed to be and each shoola dasa as 5 months. For Narayana, chara and other dasa, you can easily use the formula P X 5 / 144 instead of 120 which is used for vimsottari dasa only. My understanding is that natural purnaayu is 5 years and so we should take 5 years as term and then that event causing dissolution of LokSabha before its Purnaayu should be studied w.r.t. char dasha, also, for extended aayu [6 years during emergency] should be studied with second cycle of Char Dasha.[s.Rath:] Correct. The extended years come because of a rejuvination caused by Venus and this is another cycle. 2. In case of a job [e.g. for a Govt of India employee duration = Purnaayu is from date of joining to 60 years of age. So the formula would be p* P/120[s.Rath:] For all prasna purposes the normal Narayana or chara dasa period has to be used and compression is not called for as the period of work is not fixed. When the employees had joined work, they thought they would retireat 58 years until the government extended this to 60 years. In future govt can change this to 65 years also. then what happens? So use the standard period for all these matters and avoid compression. where, p=Rashi dasha period by taking 120 years P = Purnaayu of job in question = date of expected retirement - date of joining So should we take date of joining as the natal chart for the events in the job ?[s.Rath:] Yes date of joining the job is the important chart. Better still if you use the Narayana dasa *NATAL* of the dasamsa chart. Also, if a person has been in two/more jobs, should we take first job only as the basis for natal chart[s.Rath:] No, every change in job causes a change in the chart, hence it is better to stick to natal chart dasamsa. In case you use the joining muhurta, use the standard rules for muhurta. or, we'll take both joinings as the basis for two seperate dasha calculations?Kindly enlighten.regards,Pankaj Sharma[Om Kleem Krishnaaya Jagannathaaya namah]Send a blank mailTo : -To :
