Respected Gurujis,

As the Jaimini Char Dasha period [p] for a particular rashi is determined

for the 5 year term of the LokSabha as following:

p * 5 / 120

I have two querries:

1. In case the LokSabha is dissolved before 5 years

or in case it has exceeded upto 6 years [emergency]

and we have to determine some past event which has

really occured in past regarding the LokSabha,

do we take Purnaayu as 5 years only in all these past cases also.

My understanding is that natural purnaayu is 5 years and so we should take

5 years as term and then that event causing dissolution of LokSabha

before its Purnaayu should be studied w.r.t. char dasha,

also, for extended aayu [6 years during emergency]

should be studied with second cycle of Char Dasha.

2. In case of a job [e.g. for a Govt of India employee duration = Purnaayu

is from date of joining to 60 years of age.

So the formula would be

p* P/120

where, p=Rashi dasha period by taking 120 years

P = Purnaayu of job in question

= date of expected retirement - date of joining

So should we take date of joining as the natal

chart for the events in the job ?

Also, if a person has been in two/more jobs, should we take first job

only as the basis for natal chart

or, we'll take both joinings as the basis for two seperate

dasha calculations?

Kindly enlighten.

regards,

Pankaj Sharma
