[SJC: Achyuta Gurukul] : New! SJC youth astro group starting

I would be keen to learn more about this group and get enrolled if my

candidature is deemed fit. I am 32 years old and am not sure if I can fit in

this youth group.

 

I have good basics in astrology which I learnt from my father, when I was in India.

I am currently in the US and have picked many concepts in astrology reading

material on the internet. I can interpret a chart vaguely too. I can identify

some prominent yogas like GKY, Parivartana yoga, RY etc. I realise that I have

been learning astrology without having a strong foundation. For this reason I

might want to enrol in a course of this type.

 

Having passed Rahu AK MD, I have been blessed with spiritual foundation and

good values too. I would appreciate if you could let me know your opinion on my

candidature for such a course.

and young adults.I am starting a with lessons and homework with a

bi weekly quiz,etc.

We will start with a thorough understanding of the basics.

Guidelines:

1)The Junior students need to have an SJC "Junior membership".

2)Each student should submit a recommendation from an SJC guru, or a parent

knowledgeable in astrology

3)Children under 18 will need the written permission of their parents to participate.

4)Initially,the class with will be limited to (10)students who have a sincere

desire to learn Jyotish and have the intellectual aptitude and the commitment

to follow some sort of sadhana.(More students maybe added later, but to start I

think i can only handle (10) students.)

Students with brilliant minds and a sense of compassion are encouraged to apply.

5)It is expected that the students will use their astrological knowledge to

guide others on a spiritual and material levels as needed.(ie. We will NOT be

learning astro for gambling purposes and such things)

6)Teachings will be kept in line with guidelines of Sri Jagannath Center, under

the direction of Guru Sanjay Rath.

7)After completing the program the students may advance to take a regular SJC

guru and join the adult .

Dear Srinath,

As there are no groups for youth i wanted to start a youth only group.

Have you attempted all the lessons in the "files" section.There are

many lessons there. Also Sanjays site and the SJC site have many

articles.

Another suggestion-Have you d to the Jyotish Digest

magazine,as there are beginning articles in it as well.

Did you know you can attempt the lessons and post your answers to the

group and someone will correct them?

Im sorry I cant take you ,although you sound like a sincere student,.

Another possiblity is that you can join the correspondance course

through SJC when it is launched.
