Dear Gauranga,

 

I take liberty in writing to you,

encouraged by several other people too.

I (and some others) do sympathise

with you and in total agreement that injustice has been done.

Some of the members (I am not

sure if anyone has written to you directly) who appreciated you previous

writings suggest that you publish your article on the list. There are 220

members on Sri Varaha and 776 on

Srijagannath, which makes it almost 1000 people (not including Vedic astrology

list with 1700 members).

How many rs do you think

Jyotish Digest have ? hardly 3-5% of the total above.

I don't see what is the link between writing a paper

for a conference and presenting it personally. In last year's Varga Chakra

books there were several papers the authors of which could not come to present

them, still they were included, for example Narasimha's and Sarat's

papers. I was not informed of any difference from this routine this year.

The Annual Issue of the Jyotish

Digest was released on 8th January during the inauguration of the Puri

Conference. This issue contains some of the papers presented at the

Conference and is hence devoted entirely to yogas. During the

Conference, our staff from the Delhi office had moved to Puri and so

it will not be till the next week that the issues would begin to be mailed out.

We request your patience and co-operation in this matter.

 

All those who have a change of

address please notify me as soon as possible.

 

Also, a reminder once again

to those who did not receive the July and October issues of the Digest, so that

we can mail them out to you along with the annual number.
