Dear Pankaj,

 

Yes, I used the wrong Jaipur. But some ideas should be considered to

rectify the chart:

 

Mercury in Swamsa means good businessman or trader, weaver, versed in

social and legal areas.

Mercury aspecting Moon in Swamsa makes a doctor or medical worker.

(This does not fit a mechanical or civil engineer does it?)

Moon and Mercury in Swamsa should yield a good writer also.

 

If the chart is correct then the following:

 

The natives chart has Gemini lagna as you mentioned. The Jupiter dasa

(8 and 11 lord in 9th house, mixed results) is from 1995 till 2011.

Shani in the sripati lagna only. The sripati method I learned, based

upon bhava midpoint, is to be blended with the first sign to

determine the full effect.

 

Taurus lagna.

Virgo navamsha.

Born in Mars dasa.

Currently in Jupiter, Venus Vimsottari.

 

Benefic is Saturn (9th-10th lord) in 2nd with Benefic Sun (4th lord),

and Ketu in Gemini (Ketu is good in Gemini).

Malefics Venus (as 6th), Jupiter, Moon.

Saturn (yogakaraka) gives wealth slowly in second, and labor work

is favored.

Saturn and Jupiter aspect the Chandra Mangala Yoga (by mutual

exchange). My experience with the combined aspects of Jupiter and

Saturn are that both the positive and negative effects are moderated.

Eighth lord in 9th house indicates good intuition.

 

Sources of difficulty:

 

Malefic Jupiter (retrograde 8 and 11 lord) debilitated in 9th.

Rahu in 8th causes difficulties for worldly benefits, difficult for

family.

Exchange of 3rd and 5th lords is called Khala paravartana yoga and

gives fluctuating fortune.

Ketu, Sun, in second with Mars aspect too makes it difficult for

wealth.

Fourth lord Sun with natural malefics Ketu, Saturn (yogakaraka).

As well as being the yogakaraka, Saturn is Badhaka (Capricorn) for

Taurus lagna, giving trouble with authorities and teachers.

Sun with Saturn (Surya-Shani yoga) causes some problems with enemies

also.

 

The 11th house (of gain) has Mars (lord of 7th-enemies & 12th-losses)

Moon (2nd lord, wealth) and Saturn (9th lord, good fortune) aspects,

and 11th lord Jupiter is strengthened in the 9th with Venus and

Mercury aspects. Mars creates difficulty here.

 

Rahu in the 8th: should propitiate Rahu.
