Respected Sir,

Thanks for giving such a wonderful explanation to me.

Could u please tell me the mantras for moon and other planets for strenghtening

and the way to chant.

also, could u please tell me about following (sorry for asking personal once again):

1)effects of position of saturn in life & any remedies if any need to be done (

as i had heard that luck can only be improved by Saturn if saturn is in 9th

bhava )2)effects of position of Sun in life & any remedies if any need to be

done3)effects of Rahu & Ketu in the chart being in same rashi in navmansha &

any remedies if any need to be done

Thanks once again,

Dear Arun,The general idea is to strengthen natural benefics that are also

temporal benefics when they are weak. You can also strengthen any house lord

but at the expense of some other house. For example the lords of trines are

the most beneficial as lords of Dharma houses. The lords of 3, 6, and 11 are

generally malefic as they may promote implusive actions. The lagna lord should

be strong to strenthen the body. The Moon should be strong to strengthen the

mind (emotions), and the Sun should be strong to strengthen the soul. However

sometimes, based upon the lordship and position of planets in divisional

charts, even natural and temporat benefics may have some undesirable effects.

However, the four areas of life should be balanced: Dharma (1-5-9), Artha

(2-6-10), Kama (3-7-11), and

Moksha (4-8-12). Strengthening 1-5-9 lords is a general rules that we be

generally beneficial.For your chart the trinal lords are:9 - Moon5 - Jupiter1 -

MarsHowever Parasara states that for Scorpio Mars is neutral in effect (as lord

of 6th as well as lagna).Scorpio Lagna, lord Mars in 7th with Venus, Jupiter,

enemy sign, and in 3rd in Navamsha exalted in Capricorn and with Saturn. --

Mars will give much passion. Wearing pink coral may help moderate this effect,

but you would have to do a trial run. Red coral may increase passion and may

not be best. Also being with two natural benefics Venus and Jupiter

strengthens it. I think the combination of Jupiter, Venus, and Mars together

in the 7th house will increase passion and sexual desire to a great degree and

may cause dissatisfaction in relationships.Moon in Aries (friend) in 6th with

Saturn aspect, in 8th in Navamsha

in Gemini indicate some weakness and as the 9th lord may be strengthened by

wearing a natural or tissue nucleated pearl. This may help with contentment

and help remove depression. The other issue is that for fixed ascendents, the

9th lord causes some obstructions due to not listening to the Guru. The Moon

may cause some rebelliousness in this respect that you will have to overcome to

gain in Dharma.Jupiter as lord of 5 and 2 in 7th is in a great enemy sign and

with Mars and Venus, with Rahu in the 11th in Gemini Navamsha. This indicates

some mixed influence. Wearing Yellow Sapphire may be beneficial for

intelligence in this case. The best to strengthen in this case I believe is the

Moon.In any case you can use mantras for Moon or other planets you want to

strengthen.Another analysis could be done on the basis of Arudha

lagnas.Sincerely, Dhamakesin--- In

Dear Arun,

Sun as 9th lord in the 8th, and also Saturn in 9th: gains through

wills and legacies and knowledge of occult and good intuition. But

difficult for father and younger siblings and luck. -- Strengthen

the 9th lord. Referring to the Scorpio lagna, you can do the mantra

for the Moon. There may be some other remedies for Sun in 8th that

you can do that I do not know. (The Sun mantra will produce positive

results in this regard.)

Saturn in the 9th can be good if it is a yogakaraka and a temporal

benefic (not so in this case) or aspected by benefics (and Mercury is

too mutable to help here).

Rahu and Ketu together in same rashi in Navamsha indicates that

during their dashas will both be positive or negative for Dharma

(marriage, religion, etc.) depending upon what house they are in and

what yogas occur. Negative in 3, 6, 8, or 12 and positive or neutral

in other houses. It requires combining indications and using

intuition to make a final determination. The rashi lagna is

important overall. The Jaimini sutras are useful particularly in

judging the navamaha. The problem with giving rules it that they are

too general since you have to study the rashi and yogas and house

yogas.

Mantras

I learned to chant the mantras silently. Some do so out loud. But

the key is to have a devotional attitude and to concentrate, that is

do not let the mind wander. I am giving some mantras below. I

learned the first version with hrim. I suggest learning the mantra

pronunciation from a tape or CD or from someone who knows the correct

pronunciation. The description of the Shaktis are from Dr. David

Frawley. Notice what the grahas excel at and you can see how even

malefic grahas may benefit you. Saturn can be good for meditation by

helping to increase concentration and discipline for example.

Sun – Hrim, Harana Shakti, the power to hold, energize, attract and

fascinate.

"Om hrim suryaya namah" or

"Om hrim hrim suryaya namah" or

"Om sum suryaya namah" or

"Om ghrinih suryaya namah"

Chanted for 7,000 times during the dawn period. May be 108 per day

and at other time.

Moon – Shrim, Sharana Shakti, the power of refuge, surrender, peace

and delight

"Om hrim somaaya namah" or

"Om som somaaya namah" or

"Om hrim chandraaya namah"

Chanted for 11,000 times during evening time. May be 108 per day and

at other time.

Mars – Krim, Karana Shakti, the power of action, work, motivation,

and transformation.

"Om hrim angaarakaaya namah" or

"Om ang angaarakaaya namah" or

"Om hrim mangalaaya namah" or

"Om mam mangalaaya namah"

Chanted for 10,000 times at 8 o' clock in the morning. May be 108

per day and at other time.

Mercury – Aim, Vachana Shakti, the power of articulation, calling,

guiding and teaching.

"Om hrim budhaaya namah" or

"Om bum budhaaya namah"

Chanted for 9,000 times two hours after the sunrise. May be 108 per

day and at other time.

Jupiter – Strim, Starana Shakti, the power of expanding, unfolding,

blossoming and evolving.

"Om hrim brihaspataye namah" or

"Om brim brihaspataye namah"

Chanted for 19,000 times during the evening time. May be 108 per day

and at other time.

Venus – Klim, Kama Shakti, the power of love, delight, contentment

and fulfillment.

"Om hrim shukraaye namah" or

"Om shum shukraaye namah"

Chanted for 16,000 times during sunrise. May be 108 per day and at

other time.

Saturn – Hlim, Stambhana Shakti, the power of delaying, stopping,

holding, and terminating.

"Om hrim shrim shanischaraaye namah" or

"Om sham shanischaraaye namah"

Chanted for 23,000 times in the evening. May be 108 per day and at

other time.

Rahu – Dhum, Dhavana Shakti, the power of obscuring, hiding,

protecting and preparing.

"Om hrim raahave namah" or

"Om ram raahave namah"

Chanted 18,000 times during night. May be 108 per day and at other

time.

Ketu – Hum, Havana Shakti, the power of offering, sacrifice,

destruction and transformation.

"Om hrim ketave namah" or

"Om kem ketave namah"

Chanted 17,000 times during night. May be 108 per day and at other

time.

Dear Arun,

I should have said:

Sun as **10th** lord in the 8th, and also Saturn in 9th: gains

through wills and legacies and **career** and knowledge in occult and

good intuition. But difficult for father and younger siblings and

luck.

However the Moon in 6th favors detail or service occupations related

to medical or restaurant work. (Career is difficult to assess

without considering all influences on the 10th house lord -- and

strength of lagna -- and significations and 10th division chart.)
