Dear Jyothsna,

 

Music has a very close association with the planetary harmony in nature.

There are seven swaras and 7 planets. Music can be a good remedy.

However a lot of research is awaited in this area. Hope something can be

done on this in future.

Hi everybody,

 

Iam a new member to this group. Iam Jyothsna SaiRam, Carnatic

classical music artist. Iam interested in discussing regarding Music

and Astrology which are two different sciences.

 

Muthuswami Dikshitar who is one among the Trinity in Carnatic Music

is also an Astrologer. He has come up with Navagraha krithis in

praise of 9 planets. Rendering the krithis of the planets on the

respective days is very good indeed. Are there any one in this group

who relates this Navagraha Krithis with Dasas,subperiods ?

 

Are there anyone in this group who follow this philosophy of

rendering Navagraha Krithis as a remidy?

Hare Rama Krsna

You should be in touch with Puroshotamam in Singapore. He has much knowledge

on this subject and has compiled much research. I have a copy of some of his

papers in Puri if you will be attending the conference in January. There

will be a few other musicians coming as well. Much work is needed in this

area. Where are Sun and Moon in your Navamsa? Send your birthdata.

I am not musical myself (just like to listen). To answer your question with
