Ram,

I wonder if there is more to it than Saturn being YK. My Moon is in Virgo (2nd

house). Sade sati would be transit of Moon in Leo, Virgo and Libra. I have gone

thru Sade Sati twice, last one from Sep 77 onwards. Touch wood! things were not

too bad during Sade sati. Parts of Saturn Dasa were however were very

difficult.

Dear List Members,

Recently I happened to meet a learned astrologer who mentioned to me that the

effect of Saturn during the 7 +1/2 years of Sat in Cancer, Leo and Virgo is not

as bad as for other rasis. This is because Saturn is the son of Sun who owns

Leo. Any comments on this??

Er, why then is Sa Su's pachaka? Or indeed, how can Sa be the oldest graha if

he's Su's son? Such thinking might not wash. Sade-sathi might only spare Li and

Ta asc natives, that's about it... or at best even Vi natives when Ra overrules

Aq.

Dear Ramesh,

Intriguing. But could that have anything to do with both Sa and Mo in your case

being powerless on their own? Sa is in marana and Mo is 12L... could be off by

a bit in my thoughts here, but it could be a possibility.
