Guest guest
I wanted to keep out of his thread but couldn't help feeling a lot of you were interpreting "more than one wife" incorrectly. Prior to as recently as 1956, Hindus in India could legal marry more than once... from what I hear, those who couldn't stand more than one mother-in-law stuck to one wife. I guess you folks need to look at "attraction", "appeal" and such titillations to figure out why more than one fem would agree to marry the native. Keep the "maraka" thing aside for a while.
