Dear Sanjay,

Just wanted to add that three or more malefics in the Kendra

attribute to what is called a Naag Bandhan.The two Sarpa yogas KSY and KAy both

signify a deep desire from the past which lead to this birth.Naag bandhan shows

the inablility of the native to come out of some karmic cycle.A benefic may at

times break the above mentioned doshas.

Dear Arun,

There is difference between Sarpa and Naaga. Sarpa is ruled by Rahu

and Naaga is ruled by Ketu. Shree Krishna says in Bagawat Geeta

[Ch10.28&29]sarpanam asmi vasukih and anantas casmi naganam . Both

are loosely Translated as snakes in english!.

The leader of Sarpa is Vasuki, who helped in churning of ocean.

The leader of Naaga is Ananta , over whom Visnu bhagawan sleeps.

 

Garuda is enemy of Sarpa so he can be prayed for relief. Vishnu(8

armed) comes on Garuda to rescue devotees from samsaara which is

bound by Rahu.

 

>From Ketu to Rahu (Count in reverse for nodes) Then it forms Kaala

amrit yoga. Here spirituality becomes a important strife and learning

for the individual. The person may or not become spiritual depending

on other planets. When they are from rahu to ketu it forms kaal sarpa

yoga.

 

You have Jupiter in the 7th house with a Kaala sarpa yoga from Rahu

in 11th house Gemini. Jupiter signigfies Vishnu. Jupiter is also your

Dear Kanupriya and`Sanjay,

 

Parasara says that 3 malefics in kendra is Sarpa Yoga, while 3 benefics in

kendra form Mala Yoga. Together they are known as the Dala Yogas. This Sarpa

Yoga is different from Kalasarpa Yoga, as already pointed out.
