Here is my beginner's try -

 

10th lord (Saturn) in 3rd house (Cancer) sees to be a possible pointer more

to a production, directing and screenplay writing than acting.

 

Third house signifies writing, publishing as well as courage, etc. among

other things. It's karaka Mercury does have links to acting. Saturn's

position in 3rd probably inhibits native's emotional expressions (Cancerian)

much needed in acting. However, it adds disciplines and hard work which are

good for screenplay writing or movie production, directing. If you are

serisouly into acting, perhaps the type of roles you play is limited to

Saturnian. You will need a very strong Lagna/Lagna lord to be successful in

acting because of ego factor.

 

Your previous email's mentioning of exchange signs between Venus and Mercury

does indicate theatrical career possibilities now with a link to 10th lord.

 

You should look at your rasi more carefully to find other indications as

well as Dasamsa (D-10) to confirm.
