Thanks for the detailed analysis and corrections. It is greatly useful. I have

just started learning astrology so I have a lot to learn. I do not know the

concepts of argala, subhakartari & papakartari yoga, arudhas (A11, A9 etc.), I

do know what is AL and UL. I am going to look up the concepts on the internet.

I have added my comments below in Pink. Thanks. Am I analyzing correctly and is

it moving in the right direction?

CAREER/INCOME-------------

(1) Mars though exalted is placed with debilitated Jupiter. But Mars does not

rule over 10th or 11th house so how will exalted Mars help in career matters ?

Lord of 10th (Mercury) is in dead state in 6th house.Visti: Mars is exalted

and gives Jupiter Neecha Banga. Both have Rasi dristi on the 11th from AL,

ensuring enourmous gains (exalted and debilitated planets). SJ: I think

Sanjayji once said that the aspect of Saturn on 11th from AL means regular flow

of money, this chart has Saturn residing in the 11th from AL - could u pls

explain the reasoning behind Saturn aspect or presence in the 11th from AL

translating as regular flow of money. Visti: Saturn is the cause of poverty.

If it aspects or joins the 11th from AL, you cannot be poor. However the same

grahas are in 7th from AL and can obstruct his image at times - especially

Mars which causes a strong obstruction when exalted

here.

--> He is quite well known and respected in his fieldof work and has many

friends. Visti: This is due to Jupiter in Kendra to AL, and Moon in Kendra

to Lagna.

AC: Is the above generally speaking, or specifically since Moon is 11th lord and

Jupiter is 4th and 7th lord, 11,4,7 houses all indicating work and personal

relationships.

 

(2) 11th from AL is Tauras whose lord-Venus, thoughexalted is highly combust.-->

Should show low level of income. But that is notthe case, he has high levels of

income.

Visti: Right - see aspects as well, also keep in mind that income changes

from time to time.

(3) Jupiter, the 4th house lord is debilitated: 4thhouse signifying basic

education & houses/land-it istrue he was below average student in his school

daysbut later excelled in college. Also, has 2 houseswhich he got built on his

own i.e. not inherited. --> Houses part is not consistent.

Visti: Look at the 4th house itself - why did u ignore this? Rahu is

debilitated in 4th house, and wherever a debilitated planet is, the native does

not enjoy those activities and will shy away from them. Rahu indicates not

liking foreign languages or foreign subjects. This will prove to be a big

weakness for him later on as Rahu is debilitated in 6th from AL, which will

cause him losses in abroad investments/dealings. AC: He is a very adjusting and

humble but smart sort of person. So I think he has adjusted very well in foreign

customs (He lives in US)but did have some initial feelings against adjustment.

So his attitude is good. Will this (rahu debil) still cause him losses in

foreign dealings/investments? Is this principle applicable in everyone's

charts, i.e. if a particular combination/situation in the chart shows losses

because of certain attitude of the person, will

the losses be avoided because the person has enough self-knowledge/good sense

to change himself? Or will the losses occur irrespective of that?

 

Now when you wanto see more results from 1 bhava - keep in mind the

Karaka.Bhoomi (land) Karaka = Mars.Griha (buildings and home) Karaka =

Ketu.andVidya (education) Karaka = Mercury. The Bhoomi Karaka is Mars and is

exalted in 5th house. This is very fortunate as the Karaka is both strong and

gives argala to the 4th house showing plenty of land. This is then OWN lands as

its in the 5th house. Vidya Karaka is Mercury and is in the 6th house and

afflicted by Saturn - this causes alot of strife. This Mercury causes

Virodha-Argala on the 4th house, hence forcing him to work very hard in

education, against his will. College and such higher educations are seen from

the 9th house and Jupiter is the Karaka. SJ: Did the native go abroad for

higher/bachelor studies since 5th lord in 9H, 9th lord in 7th house forming

close conjunction with 12th lord Sun and also having aspect of Rahu the foreign

planet. Exaltation of

this Ven also added to his performing well in studies abroad - pls tell me if my

line of thoughts is proper. Visti: Its possible - 12th lord is joined 9th

lord Venus - however it may not have been abroad - but rather in a place where

the language is different - Dual signs.

AC: Engineering College was a local college only. But the town is a place where

generally people know 2 or more local langauges(i.e. excluding English). But

the same can be said about most of the towns in India.

Ascendent.--> Does this satisfactorily explain his weak physiquewith ulcer

problem ?

Visti: Lagna lord Mercury in the 6th house under papakartari and subhakartari

Yoga does indicate that. Also look at Shani's affliction. This placement of

Mercury is the reason for his rebirth (AK). SJ: 1. Dear Visti, does Shani's

aspect always cause lean or tallness esp on lagna or lagna lord2. U said this

placement of Mercury is the reason for his rebirth( AK) - can u pls expand and

tell in lay mans terms as to what ishis reason of rebirth - is it realise

healthy lifestyle. Visti: 1. Leanness is caused by the dry planets - Sun,

Mars and Saturn. Tallness is caused by the placement of Saturn in Lagna and

strong - i.e. Either Aqua, Cap or Libra.2. The Atmakaraka shows why this soul

has come back. Its placement and Yoga in the chart shows the reason for

rebirth. When AK becomes Lagna lord then the native has to realise their self

in a specific area of life - i.e. in this case through

hard work and labour(6th house) and as Shani has Graha Dristi this is associated

with alot of sorrow.

AC: Ok @ papakartari and subhakartari Yoga. But what will be the effect of

Aspect of afflicted Venus, Sun on ASC? Debilitation of Jupiter is getting

cancelled. Jupiter aspects ASC. Does it mean person will be fair-ish? I have

seen few charts having highly combusted Venus, all of them have very dark

complexion irrespective of other aspects.Is that correct?

(5) Lord of 7th (Jupiter) debilitated, placed in 5thhouse with Mars plus

afflicted Venus is in 7th withSun--> Does it indicate troubles in getting

married ormarried life and having children ? Visti: Why doesn't it indicate

bad health to spouse or no luck in love life? You need to be clear with the

definition.i. Venus being afflicted does cause ill health to spouse - however

the same venus must be seen with regards to the 7th house. Here its in the 7th

house, and hence protects the house and the spouse.ii. Venus is exalted and

hence there is great enjoyment in love life and with the opposite sex. Good

luck in love life.iii. A person with such luck with females, usually doesn't

have a problem in getting married. Look a the Upapada to see which factors

delay the marriage in being solemnized. Upapada is in Libra and its 7th -

aries, is not occupied so no direct obstructions. Now look at the Badhak sthana

from

Libra - this is Leo and its lord - Sun is in 7th house causing the combustion of

Venus. Hence the father INLAW is obstructing the marriage, and the reason is

seen from lord of Sun - Leo the badhak sthana. As Leo is unoccupied its due to

suns own indications - religion, dharma, etc.iv. Now does this necessarily mean

that the father will not like a girl of different religion? not necessarily.

Check the 4th/10th from Sun, as these planets will help cause the issue/badhak.

Ketu and Moon are in 4th from Sun, which is notable due to the following - Ketu

and Moon are in trines to the Upapada, indicating the nature of the spouse is

that of a different culture (ketu) and highly spiritual (ketu+moon).

AC: Confirmation, is the 'Father Inlaw' or the 'father' of the person (whose

chart this is) is obstructing the marriage ?

Visti: see above. You must understand all the rules before applying them.

Lord of 7th house shows the person we consider as a lover. Lord of 6th shows

the person we consider as an enemy. This person has serious paternal

problems.SJ: Visti, this person will have a love marriage is this being

indicated since 7th lord in 5th, also it is with A9 what does this indicate.

AC: Lord of 9th exalted. Sun (indicator for father) with exalted lord although

causing combustion. lord of 5 & 6, Saturn in 9th. I did not understand the

indications for paternal problems? He has no paternal problems. No problems

with father. And a favorite with his father's family (paternal relatives). How

to explain this? His mother and father are of different religions, and mother

faced lot of problems with her inlaws, but only intially. Is that connected

with what you meant by paternal problems?

 

 

Visti: Such a strong venus in 7th rarely causes fixed marriages, its also

lord of Upapada hence the link between 7th house/A7 and Upapada is there

causing Love marriage.In this case 7th lord in 5th can cause marriage to an

admirer. See the people pointing out the relationship from the Arudhas joining

the grahas. i.e. Dad is the first to say - 'So when are you two love birds

getting married?'

AC: He has had no love life to speak of, I mean only one girlfriend till now who

is his fiance now. Should exalted Venus show many girlfriends and/or

extramarital affairs? If yes, Will the combustion of Venus, prevent him from

having many girlfriends/exrtamarial affairs? Also, Sun in 7th incidate a

dominating spouse?

(6) Overall the chart appears weak. But he hasimpressive achievements esp.

regarding career/moneyand still only 30 yrs of age.--> What are the good points

hinting here to see the aspects of deb Jup, exal Mars on 11th from AL and also

the presence of Sat in 11th from AL. does the presence of A11 in the 11th from

AL has some special significance here. Visti: A11 shows your favorite things

in life.

AC: Saturn in A11 with aspect of Jupiter. A11 in tauras. How to interpret this?

If A11 is in lagna, does it mean that person is selfish, cares only for self

needs first (self is the favorite?)?

followed by Ketu dasa (2028-35) which is inMercury's sign, followed by the dasa

of afflictedVenus.--> How will this affect his life?

Visti: AK Dasa will be devastating - alot of strife and labour with only

sudden spurts in career achievements, due to being in 8th from AL.Saturn Dasa

is quite good - its in 9th house and in 11th from Arudha Lagna, ensuring

unobstructed wealth coming his way.Visti: The remedy is to fast on Tuesdays

(days of Istha Devata) and worship Narasimha with the Mantra; "Kleem

Narasimhaaaya Namah".

AC: Confirmation, Ishta Devta is seen from the 12th house (lord) from Karakamsa?

Fasting means not eating anything and drinking only water all day?
