For moon being afflicted do we consider the aspect of saturn on

the moon or conjuction only or moon's placement in saturn sign also. If the

last one is also true then how about people with Aqa and Cap moon sign? Will

they have problems regarding their mother.

In one case I have is moon in Cap sitting in 4th house but no aspect or

conjuction with saturn, getting aspect from Ju in Cancer how do you comment on

this situation?

childhood... UNLESS its afflicted by Saturn.

Similarly Sun in 9th is excellent for fathers health, UNLESS afflicted by Rahu.

Namaste Visti,

I would appreciate if you clear my doubt regarding this.

We know the Moon and Sun are the natural significator of Mother and Father

respectively. Moon rules the fouth sign of natural zodiac and gives matri sukha

but I get confused when I read that Moon sitting in 4th reduces mother's life

and sun in 9th reduces father's life. It looks contradictory to me.How come a

natural significator is responsible for that ???????

Dear Vikram,

Planets will always dominate. Hence if the 4th house is a saturnian sign, and

empty then we see the lord to judge the results. However if a planet is there,

it will dominate, hence Moon in the 4th will dominate over saturns evil results

and give good longevity to the mother, and then provided Saturn doesn't cast his

glance or sits with Moon, hence both dristi and yuti can cause the mothers ill

health and lack of longevity. Jupiter is a friend of Moon and will enhance the

longevity.
