Dear Prashant,

9. Sun is the least malefic. i.e. descending order; Rahu, Saturn, Mars, Sun in that order.

10. Ketu does not cause curses, it causes mistakes.

[sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] orientation of curse basics

Dear Visti-ji, Gurus and membersThere has been a very informative discussion on

curses. These are the basics which could be gleaned.1. A curse needs at least

2 malefics to spoil the scene.2. This can be by conjunction or by graha

drishti, NOT RASHI DRISHTI.3. Benefic planets which are afflicted will show the

person cursing the native, e.g Jup for guru, mercury for brother etc.4. There

cam be many curses but the most benefic planet will show the primary curse for

which a remedy is a MUST. Other curses will dissolve simultaneously, with the

main curse without any additional remedies.5. The MOST malefic planet will

execute the curse. House/s under his lordship will be spoiled. Esp. during

his moola dasha.6. The MOST benefic planet will be the source of the

destruction. House/s under his lordship will be the root cause which will go

out and destroy the house/s mentioned in point no. 57. The descending order of

benefics- Jupiter, Venus, Moon, Mercury. Even dark fortnight moon is to be

considered a benefic while counting curses. 8. The descending order of malefics

–Rahu, Saturn, Mars. Some questions9. If Sun is afflicted is it curse of father?

Do we count Sun among benefics or malefics?10. Ketu does not have graha

drishti. But can it cause a curse by conjunction, when another malefic is

giving graha dristi on the benefic planet conjunct to ketu?It will be a great

help if you correct and orient the basics.Humbly yoursAparna[Om Kleem
