Guest guest
Om Rameshvara Namaha, Namaskr, Folks, can someone help clarify the ownership of Time? Listening to Sanjayji on tape, he dicusses the Sun as the Karaka for time...this makes sense, as Surya "Meters" out day and night, the seasons, etc. Also, looking at this from a physics point of view, Surya owns 98% of this solar systems angularmomentium and is responsible for the rythem of the all the graha's transits across the sky i.e. space-time Cycle and therefore time. Yet Sani is seen a Yama and Mahakaal...one that follows time principles and one that rejects it ( e.g. Dharma). So, Yama follows the Sun and the Hora involved; Mahakaal sees time as a linear constant with equality of day and night ( 12 hrs and 12 hrs respectively). So , how to look at this to bring clarity to this principle and am I missing something? Ppanams, Frank in San Diego
