I somehow reached the group of vedic astrology and became a member. After a while I picked up some courage to ask same question that you are asking now. Since I was based in a place where attending classes etc was not possible, I was advised to read books written by Shri B. V. Raman and Shri P. V. R. Narasimha Rao and Shri Sanjay Rath. I managed to get Shri Raman's books from Bangalore and Shri Rao and Rath's books from Lakshmi Kary who was most helpful. I will copy her on this mail so that you can contact her thereafter. There were times I was apprehensive about writing to the group since I had almost no knowledge of the subject. I gathered courage to write to some learned members in private. I was honestly amazed by the pains they took to explain the fundamentals to me. Their help and guidance gave me a lot of encouragement. I have a long way to go in terms of learning. I am however happy that I am still around.
