Dear Mohan & Shiv,

 

When a person stays out of home for more than one year then that is

considered as home. For Example, we all know that 7L from Venus in

Rasi brings the Spouse and look at where it is placed ... the distance

(long, short, medium) is with respect to his current domicile if s/he

has stayed there for more than a year, else it would be his birth

place.

 

Recently a friend of mine got married, he and his wife were both from

same state New Jersey and staying 20-30 miles apart ... and his chart

showed the short distance. However if we take place of birth (India

for Both) this does not makes any sense!

 

Secondly, Karaka for 12H is Saturn which causes separation and Venus

as Karaka of travelling. The nodes do show foreign travel.
