In COVA Pg. No. 376-377, Guru Sanjay Rath teaches us that Karaka

Bhava Nasha does not always apply to the placement of the Primary

Naisargika Karakas(PNK) in the BHAVAs signified by them. They rather

apply to Chara Karakas(CK).

 

Through TWO scenarios, COVA explains how this can happen

 

1. The PNK and CK for a given house IS ONE AND SAME. For

example Sun is the natural significator of the 1st first house. He

happens to be chara atma karaka in a given chart. (Example Swami

Vivekananda Atma Karaka Sun)

Or Venus, natural significator for 7th house is chara dara karaka in

a chart.

 

2. The LORD of a particular house is ALSO the CHARA KARAK for

the house in a chart.

For example Shri Ramakrishna Paramhans, (Aq. lagna) Rahu is lagnesh

in rasi chart and also atma karak. Second example, Adolf Hitler,

same case, Rahu, is lagnesh and also atma karak. In case of Maa

Sarada, Shri Ramakrishna's wife the lord of seventh house is chara

dara karak.

 

In both the above scenarios, extraordinary results at both ends of

the spectrum are seen as manifestations of Karaka Bhava nasha through

chara karaka. However, unlike the analysis of the PNKs, the

placement of the chara karaka does not seem to be an issue.

 

But the question is

 

what will be the effects in the above scenario if the chara karaka

for a particular house is also placed in the signified house?

A) For example, in a given chart of Leo lagna, Sun, is the natural

significator of the 1st first house is lagnesh, located in the Lagna

and also happens to be the atma karaka? Sun is also placed in

navamsa Lagna, would it add to the effects?

 

B) In Jawaharlal Nehru's chart(India's first prime minister) Moon is

lagnesh placed in lagna, and also the atma karak. How to link this

to his self-actualisation or sufferings?

 

C) Secondly, the what if a great benefic like Jupiter, the natural

significator of 9th house is placed in the 9th, and also happens to

be the chara pitri karak? What if this Jupiter is also in exaltation?

 

D) Thirdly what if a pure malefic like Rahu, is the chara pitri karak

and placed in 9th, its own maran karak sthana? Will the karaka bhava

nasha and maran karak sthana effects cancel each other OR will the

destruction be doubled? What if the same Rahu is in exaltation?

 

Apart from B) above others are live examples whose details can be

taken up for further probing, if the need so arises.

 

IF placement of the chara karak is indeed related to the Karak bhava

nasha effect,

Can we safely presume that such a thing will take place if

Atma karak is placed in lagna

Amatya karak is in 11th

Bhratri karak in 3rd

Gnati karak in 6th

Putra karak in 5th

Pitri karak in 9th

Matri karak in 4th

Dara karak in 7th
