Guest guest
Dear Jyotishas, If I have offended anyone in anyway, that must have been unintentional. I ask for sincere apology for that. Lets walk together and help each other in the path of Jyotish. Best Regards dasgupta - Sanjay Rath SJC Asia ; Vyasa Friday, May 09, 2003 5:51 PM [Vedavyasa] A message ||Om brihaspataye namah|| For all Guru's & administrators: There was so much agitation wthin me two days back that I had to walk out after initiating a process of seeking forgiveness for the error of speaking against (directly or indirectly) Saints. What did I do? As per the guidance of Sri Achyuta, when the mind is agitated there is only one solution - meditation with the mantras: Hari (movable janma rasi), two akshara Hari Om (dual janma rasi) , three akshara and Hare Krishna (fixed janma rasi) four akshara. Others can use Hare Guru, Hare Rama or any other mantra which is four syllabled like Hara-Chandi depending on what they feel comfortable with. It is the fixed mind that is most difficult. When the mind calms the vision becomes clear. You will observe that during this period Sarbani posted the announcement and Narasimha released the JHora. If the agitation had continued, they could not have done this and their minds would be thinking about whether this was right in the light of possible closure of SJC. Their actions showed Jagannatha's hand and SJC continues. Among all the people who joined me in the prayer for forgiveness, there were some Jyotish Guru's and SJC administrators who were missing. Please ask yourself: Is there some agitation within me? If so or even if you don't know, is there any harm in trying this simple meditation technique? Did you know? At the heights of the Vishnu-Shiva wars that threatened to destroy hinduism, a saint named Sri Ayappa Dikshitar, known by the popular public to be a great shaivite went to visit Venkateswara at Ttirupati. Now, why would he visit Tirupati, considered the auspicious pilgrimage of Vishnu if he was so anti-Vishnu? It is obvious that his realisation was far greater than that of the common man and in reality he was a hindu and not a shaivite or vaishnavite. When the priests who were fully influenced by Ramanuja refused his entry, he sat in meditation outside the temple and the image of Sri Balaji was transformed from that of Vishnu to Shiva! The priests rushed to Sri Ayappa Dikshitar and prostrated at his feet and welcomed him. The idol/image changed back to Balaji/Vishnu and Sri Ayappa Dikshitar made his prayers. Sri Ayappa Dikshitar was the grandfather of the famous saint Swami Sivananda of the Divine life society. So this episode is just a few hundred years back. The teachings of Swamiji encompass the worship of all deities and he was known for his Krishna samkirtana and his Shiva dhyana. When Ramanuja, the great Vaishnava who preached destruction of Shiva temples came to Puri with a few thousand disciples, he wanted the system of prayer ot be changed. When the whole party slept determined to bring about the change, little did the know of the strength of Jagannath Mahaprabhu. They woke up the next morning two thousand kilometers away!! no transport facility in those times could cover this distance overnight. What is the message of Jagannath & Balaji? Any misbehaviour towards Lord Shiva or even ones Guru or a saint will not please Him and be sure that the punishment will also come for simple sould like us. My life is nothing but a story of suffering and sorrow (saturn AK) caused by such a dosha (curse of Guru showing religious bigotry in a past incarnation or the blatant disrespect for ones spiritual master). I spend this life in making amends and for this reason do not wish to assciate with any forum or people where there is even the slightest disrespect shown to any spiritual teacher or path (the ajivikas being the exception as they were never considered spiritualists and instead as revellers). I hope you all understand and help me to continue in SJC. With best wishes & regards, I remain Sanjay Rath -------- Mail: H-5 B.J.B Nagar, Bhubaneswar 751014, India Tel:+91-674-2436871, Webpages: http://srath.com --------[om jum sah vyam Vedavyasaaya namah sah jum om]Your use of is subject to the Visit: http://www..org Your use of is subject to the
