While congratulating the new Gurus, I choose this occasion especially congratulate the SJC. Let me tell you why. Being a comparatively new member from Mumbai region, I have been interacting with Shri J K Dasgupta in the efforts to understand the subject of Jyotish. Not only is he knowledgeable, he is help personified. As a newcomer, I could sense that this group had knowledge of the divine light AND wanted to share it. This rare spirit is rightly represented in Dasgupta –ji . I'm really glad that the SJC selcted him as a Guru. I hope and pray that JK-da( that's how we call him in Mumbai chapter) continues to share his learning and wisdom with us in this enhanced capacity.
