Guest guest
SARVAM GYANANANDAMAYAM JAGAT AUM GURUBYO NAMAH Dear Sanjay, Your statements are very true and are straight from the heart. i request you to kindly accept my sincere respects. Your intentions are pure and noble. i tried my bit on 27/4/2003 to bring about peace/shanti - you can see my posting/message (no. - 25567) in vedic astrological discussion group. Any discussion should never turn into an argument. Am i too bigger than Sankara? Am i too bigger than Chaitanya? Am i bigger than Mahavishnu? Am i bigger than Sadashiva? The answer is definite NO. Self - realisation is not anything connected with a mere statement that i am God(like Hiranyakashipu). It is a realisation to see ourselves in all other selves and all other selves in our self. Where the intellect leads ? It only leads to the establishment of 'I' which leaves behind the scar of unhappiness. If only, when the understanding dawns that the intellect draws the power for its statements/arguments from within the undesirable effects of arguments and the Ahankara can be avoided. Spark of divinity is within. When the well has already been dug and is inside there i no need to pour water from outside sources. Names of the Lords may be used for burning the Ahankara/individual i and not for any debate/battle. Any special power bestowed always goes with a specific responsibility/duty. Sanjay you know that you have been blessed with DIVYA DRISHTI to see through the battle of Karma. i place my humble request to you to please continue. AUM. SANKARA GURUDEVA. PRANAMS. i place my humble request to you to bless SJC with long life and Shanthi to Sanjay. AUM. CHAITANYA MAHAPRABHU. PRANAMS. i place my humble request to you to bless SJC with long life and Shanthi to Sanjay. AUM SRIMAN NARAYANA. PRANAMS. i place my humble request to you to bless SJC with long life and Shanthi to Sanjay. AUM SADASHIVA. PRANAMS. i place my humble request to you to bless SJC with long life and Shanthi to Sanjay. AUM GNANANANDA. PRANAMS. i place my humble request to you to bless SJC with long life and Shanthi to Sanjay. MAY THE ANTARYAMI BLESS PEACE TO ALL THE DEVOTEES OF SHIVA & VISHNU. LET THERE BE NO SCAR OF UNHAPPINESS. NOT EVEN A TRACE OF ASHANTHI. LET THERE BE NO MORE HURDLES TO OUR ASTROLOGICAL STUDIES. Best wishes and sincere respects Yours truly, psramanrayanan Attention Taureans! See what's in store. Read on. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Sriram, I have avoided sharing my views up till now, but your words touched me in a way that made an opening for me to speak. You gave us a lovely place to put things. How can ignorant souls argue about God and His eternal nature? Surely it is all His leela, whether Shiva, Ganesh, Vishnu, etc. In my opinion it is fine for Lord Chaitanya or any of the Great Acharyas to "argue" on the scriptures and the supremacy of His path. We are devotees and we all take the path that He has ordained for us. Even those who ignore Him are His devotees. Even those who commit all the transgressions belong to Him and will turn their mind to Him when he ordains that. If we are on the "wrong" path and have "wrong" understanding, then one day the correct teaching will come to us because of purity of heart and not from intellectual knowledge. In the meantime, we should humbly do as you so beautifully put it. "Let the Lord grant Gyana, Bhakti and Vairagya to the devotees... " and forgive all of us for our ignorance. These arguments reminds me of the fragile human condition when it comes to religion. We are capable of acts of violence against one another in the name of God and this has always made me very sad. We use God's name to promote our own cause but what is the psychology behind that kind of behavior? We do this out of ignorance and not out of supreme knowledge. We do it out of ego distortion and not out of understanding. When I became a Krishna bhakta, I had found the ultimate philosophy from my own point of view and I became a little judgmental of other paths... thinking they were lesser. I soon learned that this was wrong and this was arrogance. God is taking care of all of us and manifests in our lives in a way that is perfect for us in our journey. We don't have a clue. We are clueless when it come to God. We are very ignorant and all our scriptural quotes do not change us one bit or make us more holy. I have often thought that a person who has chosen to walk this life as an atheist must be a very courageous soul. Can you imagine? And can this happen without His ordination? I think not. We do not know the lessons so how can we know the answers. I am very happy that He is knowable and unknowable. The times in my life when I though I knew the answers, even according to some scripture, I was most impoverished. It was ego and intellectual knowledge. The intellect is like a parrot. It keeps repeating the same old thing.... heartless words. I prefer the path of the heart for surely that is where He is to be found, where He is to be experienced. It is the only knowledge I trust anymore and that knowledge is hard to put into words. He is not to be found in words but kind words, words that describe His leelas, bring us all closer to Him and awaken the heart. Harsh words make us defensive and angry and then we can be sure that He is not present. Regards, Brendan Dear All, If I have offended anyone, directly or indirectly, with my views on Shiva/Vishnu, forgiveness is hereby solicited. Let the Lord grant Gyana, Bhakti and Vairagya to the devotees... Guest guest
Aum Krishna Guru Pranaams, Respected and Dearest Gurudeva Sanjay Rathji: Gurudeva, You might hardly remember me. But that is not important. In 1999, I was a lost soul, too full of ego and ahamkara...until I found VA List and then subsequently all the other venues. I joined your Parampara because...I felt bonded to it. At that time, I found some connection within me, a feeling, that finally I had arrived home. I am aware that perhaps, my this response to your post may be inappropriate. Perhaps, I am just wasting the bandwidth and hundreds of people's email capacity. At the risk of all that, I earnestly request you not to make me homeless again. Let me take all the negative energies generated from whatever transpired [and I sincerely do not understand in depth; exactly what it was that transpired] and the karma resulting from it on my soul alone, commencing my next life onwards. I am aware about the consequences of taking up karma, etc. But come what may, I accept and will stand by this agreement. You can test me by casting a prasna...o...Gurudeva. Jaya Jaya Gurudeva Aum Namo Narayana At your lotus feet, I will always servantly remain: Ron Bach [A humble shishya of your parampara] P.s: It is still morning here and a long time before sunset.
