Dear Sanjay,Partha, Kasturi, Ananthakrishnan and others,

The SJC Chennai chapter was born in Sri Jagannatha Temple. Sea facing(the)

Temple(i don't want to call it the other way round. There is a small yagna

sala(place for conducting Yagna/Yagha). All the four(including the son of Shri

Ananthakrishnan) of us sat in the Yagna sala. You would agree with me that

Jyotish Vidya is also gynana yagna. It was ofcourse an informal meet. No

serious study took place. SJC Chennai Chapter was born in Simha Lagna with Sun

in 9th in association with Buda and the star was Rohini. When we slowly started

after getting ourselves introduced Sri Ananthakrishnan recollected his chart. No

charts were brought for discussion. I shall reproduce the chart impressions from

my mind(Sri Ananthakrishnan can always correct me ). Leo Lagna rises with the

Lord of Lagna Sun placed in 9th with Buda. Moon (Rohini) Venus & Ketu are

posited in Taurus while Sani & Rahu(1956) are placed in Scorpio. Guru(AK) is

placed in Cancer. Mars is placed in Makara.(parivarthana exists between Mars &

Sani). Have i reproduced your chart correctly(Krishnan saheb - kindly reply if

your reading this)? There is some relevance definitely with the time of birth

of SJC Chennai chapter and the time when Sri Ananthakrishnan was born(both are

Leo borns and both have the lagna lord posited in 9th with Buda). Here i would

like to deviate a bit from the main track (Astrology). When Sri Kasturi told

me that we are to meet in a temple of Sri Jagannatha and the time was fixed as

2:30 P.M i was wondering whether the temple/sanctum sanctorum would be open. i

was eager to meet the Lord. When Moon is Rohini and a birth is to take place

should there not be Lord Krishna? Here comes Shri Anantha Krishnan saying that

destiny had played a great role in his life and as a result of which he had to

loose his leg and in that condition he had decided not to visit temples. Now

look at the name . It is composed of three words Shri(it is a sound of

respect - represents mother. Indeed at that moment Venus was hiding in 8th -

though not expressed it is implied) + Anantha+ Krishnan. Shri represents MA

Subhadra. Anantha represents Lord BalaBhadra . Krishnan is the Lord

Jagannatha. i took it as a mischievous and subtle comment by the Lord when

Shri Anantha Krishnan mentioned that destiny had played a great role with his

leg/legs - meaning vishnu padam has been separately installed!! Where people

place their feet artifically without reverence,faith and devotion in temple why

should the Lord visit such places! When the doors of the temple is closed the

Lord is outside. i for a moment was very much thrilled. Shri Anantha Krishnan

came with his son who carried with him the holy Book of Shiridi Baba. When Shri

Kasturi and myself were waiting outside it was the mercy of the Lord to come

and receive us outside with his Dasa(Aychuta). i took that relvelation by the

Lord as the prasad.

Let me scale down from this state of mind to Astrology.

>From the above chart /planetary positions we can understand that AL falls in

Saggitarius(dharma Kshetra). No planet is placed in the third from AL.

However the third is subject to the aspect of Guru from Cancer. The 6th from

AL is tenanted by Moon, Venus & Ketu. Does this position not indicate a Sadhu?

Of course there are other yogas and placements like Moon opposed by Sani, Venus

& Ketu subject to the aspect of Sani, placement of 5th Lord Guru in 12th,

placement of Lagna Lord Sun in 9th the 2nd house from UL(Pisces) is subject to

the aspect of Sani & Rahu, the 2nd Lord Mars is also subject to the aspect of

Sani & Rahu. Before i stop this i wish to thank Shri Kasturi Rangan who had

been kind enough to take me there to the Holy place and in the same breath

thank Shri Anantha krishnan and his son for gracing the occassion and to Shri

Sanjay who had given his green signal for establishing this Chennai Chapter.
