Guest guest
Jaya JagannathDear Gurudev, I am also trying to understand Koran and hence I have enough material to give you. I am attaching them for your reference. I have both translation and Translation with explanation of the same. If you wish I can send them to you. I am not sending them now as it might block your mail box. The zipped file size is near 400KB. PranaamSarajit - Sanjay Rath SJC Friday, May 02, 2003 1:54 AM [sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] Afterthought ||Om brihaspataye namah|| Dear Jyotisa, You have all been witnessing a debate going on in the Vedic-Astrology list. I have been following the debate and the transit of the Moon very closely. till the 24 April Krishna Navami, things were in some control and although some off hand remarks were there, the debate was a good one. Then the Moon entered Kumbha Rasi on April 25 and everything started going out of control. Anticipating the forthcoming dark nights, I sent a mail thanking everyone for their participation. this was Krishna Dwadasi and the next Krishna Trayodasi was Jupiters last attempt on April 28. Thereafter, the Moon entered the phase of the curse and naturally the list had to hear all sorts of statements. Moral: Never discuss spiritual topics with guru's on these nights of Krishna Chaturdasi to Sukla pratipada. This is the cursed phase and anyone attempting it will be subject to ruin. Just avoid these three nights, and never ever by mistake also curse or speak ill of Siva (or any Guru) on Krishna Chaturdasi, else Narka is waiting. Its called Narka chaturdasi. Sukla Pratipada ends tomorrow and good things will start again. I had to be indirectly harsh as this sort of a debate where people end up calling Sri Vyasa deva a cheat etc is generating a lot of bad karma for them. People come to SJC to benefit, get good karma, and if the reverse is going to happen, why will they come? A debate is meaningful if the people in the list start listening and learn good things. If good words come from their mouths and their writings are good. No, I cannot tolerate such words against any Maharishi, what to speak of Sri Vyasadeva. The point to learn is that while there is a debate going on between two or three very learned members - in this case Nomadeva, Narasimha, Robert & Sarbani, others should keep pin drop silence and should not interfere and disturb them as then the whole debate and discussion becomes full of noise and is ruined. Alas we have lost another very good opportunity to learn something simply because some people made a lot of unnecessary noise out there. I was hoping they would arrive at the word-by-word meaning of at least some of the slokas of the Gita. That would have been very interesting. And just see what it became - 'I said this, no you meant that, no you said that word,....this is just meaningless and off track...exactly on Amavasya and sukla pratipada. Yet I give credit to Nomadeva Sarma for he was the most calm of them all. No doubt that he is very learned. Gauranga did give an excellent mail on the holy Quoran. Have you read it? If not, do get it. I have been looking for mantras of the Quoran for my studies. If anyone comes across any, please send them over. In the meantime, I have sent a chart of Sri Achyuta dasa to the list. Please attempt it. With best wishes & regards, I remain Sanjay Rath -------- Mail: H-5 B.J.B Nagar, Bhubaneswar 751014, India Tel:+91-674-2436871, Webpages: http://srath.com --------[Om Kleem Krishnaaya Jagannathaaya namah]Send a blank mailTo : -To : Your use of is subject to the Attachment: (image/jpeg) Notebook.jpg [not stored] Attachment: (application/x-zip-compressed) Quoran - Arabic.zip [not stored]
